A SIMPLE DAY

NEXT DAY 

I: kate listen, last night i didn't want to ask you since the boys were there too, but you have to tell me the truth, your friendship is important to me

Kate:yeah, your friendship is also important to me, it's not like everyone has a real princess as a friend but yes i will be honest with you, come on tell me

I: okay, it's about me and william, are you sure it doesn't bother you that we're together now? because if so, i will find a way to push him away

Kate: leonor, i really appreciate what you said but i'm fine wih you two being together, i'm very happy for you and then i'm with fergus now

I: i'm happy to hear you say it

LATER

William: hey beautiful

I: oh hey 

Kate: hi, where's fergus?

Fergus: i'm here, you can't stay away from me, can you?

Kate: no, actually i was getting worried since you're always with william

Teacher: Miss de Borbon, the headmaster has asked to see you, you have to go to his office right now

I: okay, thank you 

William: what have you done?

I: i hope it's nothing serious, it's better if i go now, see you later

Kate: see you later

IN THE OFFICE 

Headmaster: Miss de Borbon, i'm happy that you are integrating very well into the school, i know that you have made new friends, you follow all the lessons perfectly, you get the highest grades in all the exams

I: thank you sir

Headmaster: as you know the princess of asturias awards will be held tomorrow evening and you as the heir princess, will be excused from the lessons like last time and as requested by your parents, you will leave on the morning flight

I: okay, thank you very much

Headmaster: have a good day

I: i will sir, bye 

IN THE GARDEN 

I: hey, what are you doing here all alone?

William: i waited for you to come out of the headmaster's office

I: thank you, i really appreciate it

William: so, how did it go?

I: he told me that tomorrow evening there will be the princess of asturias awards and as heir princess, i will have to attend the event, i will leave on the morning flight

William: what are the the princess of asturias awards?

I: there are days where the winners of the princess of asturias foundation will receive their prizes, as doctors, scientists, athletes, teachers and other categories that don't come to mind right now, i have been partecipating with my family since i was 13 now i'm almost 16, it's a tradition for my family and to show our solidariy to the all the spaniards

William: i'm lucky i don't travel every month to those events, then as my royal events are here in england 

I: don't rage please

Wiliiam: are you going to tell your parents about us?

I: yeah, when the time is right, why?  have you already told your family about us?

William: no, i'm waiting for the right time to come

I: good,  i don't think i'm ready to meet your grandmother, Queen Elizabeth

William: don't worry, she doesn't bite and then i'm sure she will love you like i do

I: you know it's a shame that you can't come to the awards with me, but you know there's a way to see them

William: oh yes? which?

I: live on the internet, although i'm not sure you would understand anything since it's in spanish

William: right, sometimes i forget that you are not english but spanish, how did you manage to learn english so well?

I: it's one of the advantages of being bilingual, my mother had hired a babysitter who only spoke in english since my sister and i  were little to get us used to the language 

William: i'd say it worked, but i thought your father also chose for your education?

I: yes he does, he is the King in the eyes of the country , of the people but at home it is my mother who makes most  of the decisions except the constitutional ones which fall to my father

William: got it, it works like this in my family too

I: it's late, i have to wake up early tomorrow morning, i'll go in my room

William: good night, i won't miss a minute of the awards don't worry, i'll only watch them to see you

IN THE DORMITORY

Kate: why did you come back so late?

I: i was talking to william in the garden, i didn't realize the time

Kate: i thought you were lost or worse, anyway what did the headmaster say?

I: that tomorrow evening there  will be the Princess of Asturias awards  and i will have to attend as the Princess, i am leaving tomorrow morning

Kate: you'll have to stay longer than last time, right?

I: probably yes

Kate: does william know?

I: yes, i told him before, he said that he will see the event just for me, altough i don't know if he will understand anything since it is in spanish

Kate: he probably won't understand a single word but just look at you all the time

I: good night kate

HELLO MAGAZINE: today the Royal House of the King has published a  photo portraying Their  Majesties the King and Queen with the Royal Highnesses the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofia, as an official christmas photo, as we know her royal highness the Princess of Asturias is attending college in the United Kingdom so the photo was taken when the princess returned to spain for the mass in santiago
