Selfless her

"Okay, okay my dear daughter now go and freshen up then come downstairs for breakfast. We are waiting for you." Rooh said pinching her cheeks making her whine at her in return.

Vanessa skipped to the bathroom and Rooh sighed at her daughter's selfless behavior. Sometimes it scares her to the extent that she wants to hide her from this cruel world. She don't want her daughter to face what she has faced in her past with Mikhail. She is too innocent and selfless for this world.

Mikhail and her has protected her do much that now she is scared if her daughter will be able to face this world fearlessly. She is not aware of the monsters roaming out there who can hurt her, taint her. She is not aware of the cunning people ready to trick each other to become best. But she also knows she can't keep their daughter hidden anymore because someday she will have to face to outer world. She can't be like this fragile.

In these thoughts, Rooh reached downstairs and saw Mikhail placing the dishes on the dining table. She also started helping him but there was a visible frown on her face gaining Mikhail's attention. He came closer to her and took her hands in his softly.

"What happened, Lyubov?" he asked her and concern lacing in his voice.

Rooh moved her brown eyes to Mikhail and gaze in his baby blue eyes. "Our daughter is too innocent and selfless for this world." were the words came out of her as a firm statement making Mikhail confused.

"What's the reason of your sudden concern?" Mikhail asked her perplexed.

"Because she is twenty now. We can't keep her hidden and protected for ever like this. Someday she have to be out to face this cruel world but that day would be so difficult for her because she is not aware of the things outside." Rooh said making Mikhail's expressions stern.

"You don't have to worry, Lyubov. I will always have her back, I will never ever let any harm to get her." Mikhail said with a determination in his voice making Rooh sighed. When it comes to family he always becomes more immature than a kid.

"My idiot husband, someday we will be old too and not possess the same energy we have now and besides she will also find her man. Then her life will be separated from us." Rooh resonated making Mikhail to shook his head vigorously.

"I won't let any man come near her. She will always be with us." he hissed stubbornly making Rooh to slap her forehead in defeat for now.

"We can't keep her with us for ever. She also has the right to find her own man, have children and build her own family, like us." She explained him but he was not ready for the idea of Vanessa leaving them.

"Aren't we her family? And we can adopt kids for her and about man, we will find a best man for her but the condition is he will live with us here only. My princess will not go anywhere." he objected making Rooh to feel like she bang her head in the wall.

"You will never grow up, Mikhail." she said annoyed of him and sat on the chair for breakfast.

Meanwhile Vanessa also came down after getting ready and saw her mother's cheeks puffed out in annoyance while her father was giving puppy eyes to her mother. This is the thing she loves most about her parents, the love and understanding between them. Even if they have lived so many years together but still their love didn't fade away and as fresh as the starting. She walked closer to them and glanced at her mother then father.

"W-w-what happened m-mama?" she asked Rooh making her glare at Mikhail then turn towards Vanessa.

"Your papa will never grow up and act like a mature, father of two-grown-up kids man." she said to Vanessa making her frown at her.
