part 19: Back at home

Piña's vision suddenly restored slowly, she was in a room in a white bed with weird clothing, she saw weird objects and weird wires connecting to her body and her stomach was tightly covered with bandages. She wondered where was she, but it was clearly alnus fort since he could hear their language that they call "english" outside the room.

A nurse entered the room shortly after and was delighted to see piña awake, although she couldn't speak falmartian she tried to comfort the princess and tried to tell her everything is under control. Then the door opened and entering was the general and a couple of marines walking in surrounding piña, along with them was lelei who serves as the translator.

"Princess piña, pleasure to meet you again.." the general said.

He took a sit near piña's bed and added, "what you did minutes ago was a suicide attempt.. why did you think going to al khazar alone with only a couple hundred men a good idea? I want straight answer and no shenanigans.."

His words even if piña couldn't understand but just by the tone alone was enough to tell piña he was not joking around, his tone was between being pissed off and very demanding. Alex with a couple of his squad members were waiting outside the hospital since they wanted to clear their mind a bit, especially alex.

"General.. i-i.." she struggled to let out even a single word, "i-uh.. i can explain.. you guys wanted peace between my empire r-right?"

Lelei said some words to the general before turning to face piña again, "yes.. we want a peace treaty but it doesn't mean you need to risk your god damn life just to get to the empire, you could've died if my men were late on rescuing you, you could be like the others laying on the ground with a pool of their own blood.. piña you don't understand how important you are to us, you're our key to peace.."

Lelei translated the words to piña which her tone quickly changed from calming to a more raised up tone, "key to peace? Then why i am not allowed to use it? Why did you stop me if i you badly want to have peace with al khazar?"

Lelei did what she did, the general waited for piña to calm down, "Piña for christ sake use your common sense, if we would just let you go and do the peace treaty all by your own without our help would you think you'll make it out alive? It doesn't fucking matter if your father still sees you as his daughter it doesn't matter the people you're close with in the empire will still view you as loyal, you're gonna get an arrow through your skull once you enter the empire.."

Piña sighed, "then what the hell am I suppose to do?? If i cant step foot in the empire then how do you think we'll get your so badly wanted peace treaty with them?"

The general lowered his tone trying not to get a headache, "we'll work together, wether you like it or not.." he stood up firm on his feet adjusting his uniform, "we'll meet on my office once you recover.. ill have to talk to someone.."

The general stormed off the room, piña tried to get up but her wound kept her from doing so and was attended by 2 nurses, "Wait! Please! I have more to say!!" Piña yelled out right after the last exiting marine closed the door.

"Princess.." lelei said still inside the room, "i understand you want to save your empire from them.. but the green men cant just let you roam freely, because they know alot of things that you don't know.."

Piña scuffed, "how would you know little girl?"

"Ive seen it by myself.." lelei walks to the window looking out of the building, "they've had eyes on us right before they even stepped foot on this land, they knew where my village was, they knew where your empire was.. they know everything... You're completely clueless how powerful the united states is.. even my years of training i cannot even match their level of powerful weaponry or technology, these machines they made is by far the most dangerous.. enough to kill.. the flame dragon.."
