"Vanessa gave me this scarf." Dan states.

"Look, I have to go. Stop wasting my time." Blair exclaims in annoyance. "You know today is a big day for me."

"So you're gonna finally tell me what internship you got?" Blair shakes her head. "No, alright. Well, then, I won't say which one I got either." Dan plays Blair's game. "I will see you Sunday at the Morgan. I will wear my most fashionable toe shoes." He teases her.

"Don't get your hopes up." Blair hails a taxi while Dan continue along his way.

Blair's POV

I'm in fashion heaven as I get the royal tour of the coveted W Internship. This is everything I've wanted and more. "W stands for way better than I even imagined." I gush to my supervisor. "I'm already planning outfits in my head."

"If you mean outfits for Lara Stone to wear in our Meisel shoot on Friday, I would love to hear your thoughts, but if you're dreaming about what you're gonna wear to the party tonight, thin again." Epperly, my supervisor, shuts me down. I hold onto my coat and bag and quickly follow her through W. "I saw that movie, too, but this is real life, not some Hollywood chick flick where a girl with a scrunchie gets a makeover and triumphs in the end." She tries to humble me.

"I have never owned a scrunchie." I assure her that I'm not daydreaming.

"I think I read that on your resume." She teases me. "Down there is the main production area, conference room, and through those doors editor in chief, Stefano Tonchi." Epperly continues to show me around the office.

"And how soon can I get a sit-down with him?" I ask. "I have some exciting new ideas that I've organized in a PowerPoint presentation."

"I've been Stefano's assistant since he took over. I've barely had five minutes alone with him."

"But my research says he has an open-door policy. That he's collaborative." I argue.

"Doesn't mean he isn't crazy busy."

"Then it sounds like he needs my help immediately." I exclaim with excitement.
