The gentle morning breeze wafted through the room, carrying with it a sense of serenity that mirrored Loki's peaceful sleep .

His eyes remained closed, concealing the secrets of his dreams, while his lips curved into a subtle smile that hinted at the untold adventures within.

Softly, you reached out to sweep a stray strand of hair from his forehead, marveling at the rhythmic rise and fall of his chest as he breathed

As if on cue, Loki's eyes opened, catching you in the act. With a playful smirk, he spoke in his morning voice

"You are staring." he said

Caught red-handed, you couldn't help but smile,

"Guilty as charged." you said

His emerald eyes, now awake, sparkled in the sunlight. Inhaling deeply, Loki pulled you closer by the waist The tips of your noses almost touched, creating a moment suspended in time.

"Good morning," he rasped out.

"Morning, trickster," you replied, savoring the playful banter.

A mischievous glint appeared in Loki's eyes as he admitted,

"I've heard myself being called that by many, but none said it like you." he said

"Is that so?" you teased, meeting his gaze.

"It is," he confirmed

his voice deepening. Leaning in, Loki closed the gap, connecting your lips in a morning kiss.

Breaking the kiss, he smirked playfully

"I must admit, waking up to your company is a delightful surprise. It might rival some of my mischievous endeavors." he said

You chuckled, running your fingers through his raven hair.

"Well, I'm honored to be in the competition." you said

Loki's eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Perhaps we can create our own adventures today, away from the chaos of the avengers " he said

" as tempting as it is but we must go back " you said.

Loki huffed

" we'll have no privacy in that tower " Loki said

you paused for a second

" we can always come back here " you said

" fine.. let's go " he said planting one last kiss on your lips before getting up and going to the bathroom

once he stepped into the bathroom and closed the door . your eyelids got heavier and you drifted off to sleep again.

I emerged from the bathroom the scent of soap still lingering on me . the warm rays of the morning filtered through the curtains illuminating the chamber with a soft yellowish orange.

my eyes landed on my still peacefully sleeping woman . I smiled at her serene figure.

I gently scooped her and started playfully spinning . her eyes fluttered open and a startled gasp escaped her lips as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
