"Is there another way po para ma-take ko yung exam?" I asked sir Mj. Hindi ko kasi na-take 'yong CFAS dahil bumigay na 'yong katawan ko sa araw na 'yon.

He sighed. He's one of our permanent instructors, and he's still young. Siguro nasa 24 or 25? I'm not sure. And he also looks good. My favorite instructor so far.

"Wala na. It's either you say yes, or you won't take my exam," he said.

Mabait 'to, pero alam kong seryoso siya. He really wanted me to join the regional convention because he saw a lot of potential in me. Gusto ko naman talaga. It's just that... I don't think I could manage my schedule very well.

I was lost in my thoughts while walking to the school's canteen. May mga nagtatakbuhang mga bata. Bumili ako ng bottled water dahil naiwan ko ang tumbler ko. Dumaan ako sa covered walk pabalik sa building na hawak ang binili. Vacant namin.

I was about to open my water when someone snatched it from me. Bumuntong-hininga na lang ako nang maamoy ang pamilyar na pabango.

Singco opened it. Inabot sa akin.

"Ikaw na naman..."

He smirked. "You seemed lost. May problema na naman ba?"

I sighed for the ninth time as if sighing was my personal hobby.

I suddenly remembered when he learned about my sickness. Bumisita raw siya sa bahay sabi ni Daddy pero tulog na ako. Itong lalaking 'to, hindi ko talaga mawari. He's weird and so nosy about my life. I appreciate the care, tho.

"Sir Mj won't allow me to take his exam if I don't join the convention..."

He chuckled. "Sali na kasi tayo..."

Napalingon ako sa kaniya matapos uminom. "He asked you too?"

"Of course..." mayabang niyang sabi.

"Bakit ayaw mo?"

"Wala ka," mabilis niyang sagot, at saka tumingin sa akin.

My eyebrows shot. "What the hell?" I murmured.

Tumawa siya kaya napatingin sa kaniya ang ibang mga babae. Even the gays who fantasize about him. He sure is the star of the school, shining the brightest.

"Seriously. Kaya sumali ka na para dalawa tayo. I heard sir MJ will pair us up for the quiz bee, general information..." he was encouraging me.

Ngumuso ako hanggang sa dumikit ang itaas kong labi sa ilong ko. I heard him sigh and covered my face afterwards. Sinamaan ko ng tingin at saka tinulak ang kamay.

"Ano bang trip mo?"

He swallowed hard and looked away. "Baka makita ng iba."

"Iyong alin?!"

Dahil sa kaniya nawawalan na ako ng pasensya. He always pushes my limit every time we meet. Or should I say, every time he finds me lurking around.

"Cuteness mo," he whispered.

My jaw dropped. I stopped walking while my heart continued to do its job in a faster phase. My eyebrows shot when he looked at me. I was masking what I honestly felt.

"You're getting more and more annoying each passing day," I said and walked past him.

"Tsk. Annoying is the only way..." I heard from him. Mahina lang ang pagkakasabi. Like it wasn't meant to be heard out loud.

Sa hagdan, kinukulit niya pa rin akong sumali. Ang ingay-ingay niya e pinag-iisapan ko pa nga lang! He's such a pushover.

"Hindi ko pa nga alam! I'll still think about it. You're so rashy..."
