After the conversation I had with Xiumin, I immediately booked a flight for Seoul. I was multitasking. Talking on the phone to confirm my plane ticket and preparing my suitcase. I booked the earliest flight to Seoul, which leaves tomorrow evening..
~Tomorrow~
I woke up to my phone ringing. "Jin Hye!" "Oh, hi Eujin," I said into the phone. "You sound sad, not groggy. I know you just woke up," she said. "You know me too well. Yeah, I guess I am sad. A very close friend of mine got in a car accident. I have to meet him in Seoul, I'm leaving tonight," I said. "Jinja? Mianhae Jin Hye! I hope he recovers well!" Eujin said, her voice full of empathy. "Gomawo," I said. "I'll see you when I get back from Seoul okay? You'll be at the café, won't you?" I asked her. "Well, it is my second home.." she drifted off. We both laughed.
It was now evening and I called a taxi to take me to the airport. My teacher doesn't know that I'll be out of the states for a while, but I don't care. This is Kyungsoo we're talking about. My best friend. On the plane, I couldn't sleep, it was a 12 hour and 30 minute flight. I was too worried to even bother sleeping.
