The morning after the next shift.
Carina: Mia, can I have a word?
Mia: What have I done now?
Carina: Nothing i dont think, I've asked Laura if you can have a sleep over with Lilly at their house before you go back to school. If its alright with you I'll take you round in a bit.
Mia: what? Uhm.... yeah o- okay. I'll just go pack a back pack.
15 minutes later.
Carina: Mia are you ready? Mia. Bambina didn't you hear me?
Mia: No i didn't sorry, what did you say?
Carina: Are you ready to go to Lillys?
Mia: Uhmm.. yeah i think so.
Carina: Come on then to the car.
In the car.
Carina: So me or Maya will come and pick you up on Friday evening, is that okay?
Mia: Y- Yeah thats okay.
Carina: Right we're here bambina come on grab your bag.
Laura: Ahh you're here come inside come on in, in.
Carina: So if there's any problems our phones will be on you may just have to try a few times, if she needs the hospital take her to Grey Sloane her obgyn is there, they have her chart and everything.
Laura: Carina, we got this go spend some time with your wife before this baby gets here.
Lilly: Mia come on I have today all set up, we are having.... a cosy movie day because we have been through enough lately. Whispers. I've set us up in the play room.
Mia: Thank you I dont think she understands how hard this is for me.
Carina: Ciao bambina I'll see you soon love you.
Mia: Bye.
Lilly: Come on you can pick the first movie, whichever you want.
After Carina has explained why there is so much red back at the apartment.
Maya: I only have one question, where is Mia?
Carina: I arranged for her to stay at Lillys, she's good.
Back at Lillys.
Laura: Girls were ordering pizza what do you want?
Mia: I'll just have a cheese please.
Lilly: Me and Mia can share a cheese pizza mom its no big deal.
Leo: do you not want anything else chips or a dessert.
Mia: No thanks I'm okay.
Lilly: Yeah no im good.
Leo: You can come again.
A little bit later.
Laura: Come on girls its bedtime.
Leo: Yeah you can finish off your movie marathon tomorrow.
Lilly: Are you okay?
Mia: I c- can't breathe.
Lilly: oh uhmmm what do I do?
Mia: No no no please, I need to get out of here.
Lilly: Mumm!! Mia is freaking out.
Mia: I can't breathe, can't breathe.
Laura: uh oh, Mia just breathe its okay.
Mia: I can't breathe, i-i need to get outside i need some air.
Laura: Lilly just get into your pj's, I'll stay with Mia.
On the phone.
Mia: Uncle Travis, can you come and get me please.
Travis: I'm at my parents atm but I can be there soon.
Mia: I'm not at Maya's... the apartment im at my friends, Lillys near the fire station.
Travis: Send me the address and I'll be there.
Laura: You alright hun?
Mia: Its easier to breathe out here.
Laura: So where do we go from here?
Mia: My Uncle Travis is coming to pick me up, I think its just being upstairs, in that room.
Laura: I'm so sorry, Mia this is all because of my idiot of a son.
Mia: You can't blame yourself you didn't know what he was gonna do.
Laura: Do you think it will still effect you when the baby comes?
Mia: I have no idea, ill talk to Maya and Carina about it.
Laura: Why didn't you call one of them to come and pick you up?
Mia: I tried none of them answered, my tía is at work and my other Auntie can't drive atm so it was Uncle Travis next.
Laura: Will Maya and Carina be okay with you going to his house?
Mia: Yeah, I've done it before. I will keep trying to let them know the plans have changed.
Laura: I will too.
Travis: Mia!! You okay?
Mia: Uncle Travis, im better now.
Laura: Let me just go get her bag.
Travis: Thank you, what happened?
Mia: Carina arranged for me to have a sleepover with Lilly, but I dont think she realises how difficult it is for me to be back in that bedroom. I tried calling both of them but none of them answered.
Laura: Here is her stuff.
Travis: Thank you, come on lets get you to our house then and to bed, we'll call Maya in the morning.
Mia: Thank you for having me, tell Lilly I will see her at school on Monday.
Laura: I will and you can come again, when your ready.
Travis: Come on Mia lets go.
In the car.
Travis: Have you eaten?
Mia: Yeah we ordered pizza.
Travis: Have you got everything you'll need?
Mia: Yeah.
Travis: Come on now cheer up, it'll be alright.
When they see what Vic and Jack have done to the bathroom.
Travis: Nope, deal with that in the morning im gonna bed. I'm done with this day.
Vic: What are you doing here?
Mia: Long story, im gonna get on the sofa.
Vic: Will you be okay on the sofa?
Mia: Yeah I'll be fine, night Auntie Vic.
The next morning.
Travis: Morning Mia.
Mia: Morning Uncle Travis.
Vic: Morning you two.
Travis: What are you doing about the bathroom?
Vic: I'll sort it Travis relax, my head is killing.
Mia: I'm gonna try Maya and Carina again.
Travis: You can but its still quite early so don't worry too much if they don't answer.
On the phone.
Maya: Morning Mia everything okay?
Mia: Not really, im at Uncle Travis's, we think I had a panic attack at Lillys.
Maya: Wait What? Do you want me to come and pick you up?
Mia: I don't know thats a question for Uncle Travis.
Maya: I'll ring him in a minute goodbye Mia.
