I was in my room currently looking between a maths question worksheet that I printed out and my iPad that was on the Duolingo app in the Dutch section. I put my pencil between my lips while looking at the maths paper before answering the questions.
After I answered about two to three questions before turning to my iPad to learn some words in Dutch before writing it down in my notebook I switched back to the math worksheet when someone knocked on the door I looked towards it to see Dad's head pop in
"Hey Isa" Dad said walking in and closing the door behind him. He walked towards my desk where I was sitting

"What's this?" He asked looking at the worksheet. He picked it up looking at it before side eying me "Isa, where did you get this?" He asked and I thought about how I got it "Well you see..."

I walked over to the printer located at the left side of room. I connected my iPad to the printer to print out some worksheets for some subjects I was testing myself on As it printed out, I turned to see if Dad was looking. And sure enough he was.
I sheepishly smiled at him making him narrow his eyes at me before making the 'i am watching u sign' Once the worksheets finished printing, I grabbed them and my iPad before bolting out off there Flashback ends..
"I knew you were up to something" He said ruffling my hair. He turned his gaze back to the worksheet and furrowed his eyebrows "Isn't this a bit advanced for you Isabel?" I shrugged cause it wasn't really that hard at all
"Words Isa" "Sorry. I'm just not used to it yet" I said while looking at my hands that I was clenching "Just try using more words around me, okay?" "Okay"
"Well, it's kinda easy for me" I said changing the subject making him smile at me "Okay. Come on, you've been in your room long enough" He said dropping the worksheet on the table and dragging me off the chair "B-but I have to finish that" I said while reaching out to grab it but that only made him carry me over his shoulder
He made his way out of the room acting like a human being, which was me by the way, wasn't pounding his back "DAD!!" I said hitting his back and he started going down the stairs. Then I thought of something "Dad, I don't feel so good" I said making my voice crack at the end to make it believable Yeah yeah I'm a great actress. Deal with it!
And just like I had expected, Dad stopped immediately. We were almost at the bottom of the stairs by the way. He immediately put me down as knelt on one knee to get to my level. "Are you okay? You're not hurt right? I'm so sor-" I started giggling interrupting his rant and he looked at me confused before realising the harsh truth
He playfully narrowed his eyes at me and I took that as my cue to bolt out of there. I made my way to the kitchen and grabbed a spatula just as Dad entered behind me. I pointed it at him as he edged closer to me "D-don't you dare come closer" I said but he continued anyways

I giggled remembering what just occurred are few minutes ago as I sat down on the couch. Dad turned to look at me chuckling before he said "Next time, you'll know not to test me"
There were snacks and drinks laid on the table for a movie night cause it's been a while since we had one. And also cause Dad wanted to and I surely couldn't go back to my room even if I wanted to. We had Netflix on and I was scrolling through the movies trying to find what we could watch while Dad was reading something on his phone
I stopped on 'Ninja Assassin' grabbing the bowl of popcorn before pressing play
Time skip again brought to y'all my me
The movie finished and I started scrolling through for another one. I stopped at an episode film or is it called a series film Meh I have no idea I was about to start playing the first episode when.. "Isa" Dad said making me pause to look at him
"There's something we need to talk about" I dropped the remote before turning towards him completely "To cut it short, you're going to take a test" I tilted my head to the side confused "Do you mean a test like maths or physics?" I asked making him shake his head with a small smile on his face "No peanut" He paused to pinch my nose before continuing "It's more like an evaluation that covers on all you've been taught in the past month and all you are yet to learn in the months to come"
"Wait a minute, you said months?" "You're sharp" He said booping my nose I wonder what is with him and my nose today "Well the test is in about 3months and everyone is to participate" I taught about it for a while I still got a little time left, I'm improving in my fighting classes, I started hacking lessons 2weeks ago but I'm ahead of them thanks to the sweet internet and I'm fairly good in the gadgets division, I just gotta learnt all the tool and all the essential power-up parts and alot of things
"Don't worry Dad I'll make you proud" I said flashing him a grin and he shook his head "You've already made me proud Isa" He booped my nose again before grabbing the remote and pressing play. He pulled me into his side and we snuggled as w watched the film
