Isabella's pov 1month later,
"Good job Isa" Matteo said while raising his hand so that I could give him a high five I jumped a little with adrenaline pumping in me to give him the high five "Okay go get our water bottles while I set up the apparatus for our next exercise" Matteo said and gave him a thumbs up before walking towards the area where we put our bags
I passed Cassie and Dante on the way and gave them a small wave to which they returned. After getting our bottles I was about to head back to Matteo when I heard "Do you know that boy over there?" A scratchy like voice said "Oh that's Matteo" Another voice that could rival the first answered
I turned to my left to see two girls sitting on a bench a few feet away from me One had strawberry blonde hair while the other had chocolate brown hair I don't think they're here for parkour classes though "Well he's cute" The one with strawberry blonde hair said "Yeahh" The one with chocolate brown hair said
"Lydia, do you know that girl that was with him before" Strawberry asked Chocolate "No, I don't think so Grace. But I heard that she doesn't speak" Lydia said while scrolling on her phone "Hmmm.. she's probably some a attention seeker that thinks she's better than everyone" Grace said while crossing her hands and glaring at the floor "She's just a kid Grace. Calm down" Lydia said looking up from her phone to look at Grace
"I wonder why Matteo would want to be seen with that girl cause I know I wouldn't" Grace said and Lydia snickered agreeing with her
Good thing they didn't see me staring at them or find out that I was listening to their conversation I continued on my way back to Matteo. I guess this was how those people in movies felt when they heard other people talking about them behind their backs and it didn't feel good. I tried to tell myself that I didn't care but you guys know that I care about what others think about me And here I thought I had a good impression
I made it back to Matteo and gave him his bottle while also forcing a smile. He narrowed his eyes at me while taking his bottle "Thanks" He kept on eying me suspiciously while I tried to avoid his gaze and keep my emotions stabilized I made eye contact with Cassie who immediately mouthed 'What's wrong'
You guys know that kind of thing when ya trying so hard to control your emotions but then someone asks you what was wrong and then you lose control. Yeah I was in that situation right now I looked away from Cassie's eyes to meet Matteo eyes just as a couple of tears escaped from them
Matteo gently took my hand and led me to a bench by the corner of the class. He made me sit down on it while he knelt down on one knee in front of me so that he could look direct into my eyes. But the thing is that I was trying to avoid his "What's wrong?" I heard him ask and after a few seconds his fingers gently clasped my chin to turned my eyes towards his
"Bella.." When he said called me that, I literally broke. A dam followed the one tear that managed to escape I felt him pulling me into a tight hug and whispering things in my ear. We were both on the floor now by the way A few minutes later, we were still on the floor with me sniffling a little
"You don't want to be seen with me, do you?" I asked with my voice barely over a whisper but Matteo caught it "Why wouldn't I?" "Because I'm an attention seeker who thinks she's better than everyone else and that's why I don't talk" "Did someone say that to you" Matteo asked sounding a bit angry "No I heard it" "And you believed it" "No but it's hard to ignore" I said while holding onto his shirt while he ran his hand through my hair
He sighed before grabbing my face "Bella, you're not an attention seeker. Everyone has a backstory and you talking to me just proved them wrong. And you're literally such an angel with a pure soul. It makes me soo happy to know you're comfortable talking to me so thank you" I hugged him again and whispered "No thank you Matt" "Anytime Bella"
"Iz are you okay? I wanted to come over but Matteo did something with his hands and I didn't what it meant but then Dante told me that it meant I could wait for a few minutes so I did. Are you okay?" Cassie said finishing her rambling while looking at me I looked at Matteo to see him smiling at me so I turned back to Cassie who was waiting patiently for my answer
"Yes, I'm okay"

Okay people please don't attack me. I didn't forget about Micheal but she needed to be more outgoing and Matteo is like the perfect person that can fill the big brother role till he returns
