Chapter Twenty-eight:"....you've got me"

"Yeah, seriously. I believe that's your Jeep over there." Jace says, nodding towards our black Jeep that's parked few meters from where we're standing in front of the campus.

"I see you already know it." I say.

"Of course. It belongs to my girlfriend and her friends." Jace says.

Girlfriend.....

I feel like my tummy is about to explode.

Is this how it feels to be referred to as "girlfriend"

Amazing....

I can feel myself blushing right now.

Pull yourself together, Mia....

I thought.

"You love the sound of that word, don't you?" Jace asks.

"What?" I ask.

"I can tell from your blushing. It's pretty too late to deny that." Jace says.

I say nothing but I think my blushing just became more.....blush...y.

"There's something I'd like to talk about with you during our low-key date." Jace says.

"Okay. Hope's something interesting." I say.

"We'll see about that." Jace says.

"I should go to my friends now." I say as I remove Jace's hand from my waist to walk to the Jeep.

Jace pulls me back.

"Aren't you gonna give me a goodbye kiss?" Jace asks.

"What for? It's not like we're not gonna see each other in like four hours or so." I say.

I try to walk away again and Jace pulls me back again.

"You're indeed new to this. Couples tend to kiss each often....whenever they get the opportunity to. They could kiss like fifteen times in a day and we haven't even kissed once today. Now that we've the opportunity to, let's seize it." Jace says.

"Fifteen times?! Isn't that much?" I ask.

"It's actually little. Can we now seize this opportunity?" Jace asks.

"Jace, we're outside. People will see us. My friends are probably looking from that Jeep now." I say.

"Let them see. It's none of their business. Haven't you seen some of them doing something more than kissing in front of the campus?" Jace asks.

"Jace....."

I feel Jace's lips on mine before I could complete my statement.

He pulls away from me shortly after.

"You should quit talking too much in cases like this. I see you're pretty shy that's why I just gave you a peck. I'm gonna take it more seriously tonight....when we're alone." Jace says with a smirk.

"You're so unbelievable." I say with a blush.

"I'll see you later then. Go on to your friends." Jace says.

"See you later." I say as I turn and start walking to the Jeep.

I open the front door and enter.

Michelle and Amber happen to be in the Jeep already.

They both are staring at me.

They saw what happened...

"Ooo....look at my girl blushing so much." Amber says.
