Mia's POV....

"I'm starting to think this was a bad idea!" I yell with a terrified kinda voice.

Jace and I had earlier agreed to come to a playground so we could pass time while thinking of where else to go.

I'm on a swing and Jace is swinging me back and forth and it's really terrifying. It's exciting and terrifying at the same time.

God help me....

"I don't think it is." Jace says with a really-enjoying-this kinda of voice.

"I think you should stop swinging me. I may get sick from how terrifying this is." I say.

"It's fun!" Jace says.

"Jace please!" I yell.

"Okay, as you wish ma'am." Jace says as he stops swinging me and also stops me from swinging.

"I'm never swinging like that again." I say, panting.

"Was it that terrifying?" Jace asks with a chuckle.

"Are you seriously asking that? Dude! You were basically swinging me so high that I could touch the sky." I say.

"That's the fun part." Jace says.

"Fun?? Oh....you're a monster." I say playfully.

"You don't know that." Jace says, chuckling. He sits on the swing beside me.

"It's good to feel like a kid once again." I say with a smile.

"Yeah....it is." Jace says.

"I really can't remember the last time I've been to a playground." I say.

"Really? I come here sometimes.... mostly when I need to clear my head." Jace says.

"Oh....I simply go out to my balcony when I wanna clear my head. Either that or my under-tree spot at the campus." I say.

"Your room has a balcony?" Jace asks.

"Yeah.....only my room. Michelle and Amber don't really fancy rooms with balconies so I got lucky." I say.

"Wow....does your room in Boston have a balcony?" Jace asks.

"No, but it has a slightly large window that can serve as a balcony." I say.

"Okay. I like balconies but not so much. My room back in London has a balcony but I don't spend much time there. Sometimes I don't remember it till I look at it." Jace says.

"What's it like.....in London?" I ask.

"I don't know.....I'd say normal for me." Jace says.

"Okay" I say.

"What's it like in Boston?" Jace asks.

"Well...it's not so different from here in LA....but it's nice there. Speaking of nice.....how have you been enjoying your stay in a foreign land?" I ask.

"Pretty well, I think. I've seen cooler things, eaten cooler foods that I never got to eat in London and met cooler people like you." Jace says.

"What....you think I'm cool?" I ask.

"I don't think....you're cool and so pretty too." Jace says, staring into my eyes.

He's doing it again.....
He's making me nervous.
Gosh!!! Why does he always do this??!!

"Oh....uh....thanks...." I say over a nervous chuckle.

He's not looking away or saying anything. He's just staring into my eyes, looking lost in thoughts.
