More Effort Means More Results.

Start from the beginning

although the first thing she noticed was the fact you were surrounded.

'they just...don't...stop..' you thought to yourself, unaware of Ruby's presence.

you were silently panting.

no matter how many you killed, it seemed two more appeared to replace it.

so it was as if you were against a never-ending horde.

yet, you were not stupid. you knew it wasn't never-ending.

you had a decent amount of aura left.

you could sacrifice some to grow some limbs to further aid you, but it would give the grimm a bigger target.

so you ultimately decided against it.

you took a deep breathe and prepared yourself, but you were pleasantly surprised when Ruby appeared by your side, scythe in hand.

"are you alright (Y/n)?" she asked.

you responded by lightly brushing her hand.

as normal, she understood what you were saying even though you basically did nothing.

"alright, let's finish this then."

-----

3 days 14 minutes and 17 seconds. that's how long it's been since the forever fall trip.

as you expected, you didn't gain any fame nor respect from those who would have heard.

but that's because it was never spoken about.

you didn't really care about that.

what you did care about was the fact you were currently stuck and completely unable to escape.

granted you had given up not even 3 seconds after being trapped, but still.

"honey...put him down."

"NO! HE'S MY BABY BOY!"

why oh why.

why in Oum's name were your parent's at Beacon?

"yes i get that, he's my son as well, but like...it might be humiliating to him."

"nonsense. he loves my hugs!"

"he's not even touching the floor. you're practically carrying him."

"what of it? can a mother not baby her son?"

"i mean, you got me there but-"

"nope. i can't hear you! your father's too stuck up isn't he (Y/n)? such a party pooper."

granted you loved them dearly.

"there's a difference here! we are in school! put him down!"

"MY BABY BOY."

but damn this was humiliating...

although she was right, you did love her hugs.

your mother was always super fluffy, and she always wrapped her tail around your frame when she hugged you, making sure you were completely secure in her embrace.

but yeah, again, this was definitely humiliating.

oh right, you never asked them why they were here.

you lightly tapped your mother's arm, who looked down at you.

"what is it pup?"

ah yes, you forgot your mum often calls you that.

because you will always be her 'baby fox'.
