after all, the grimm infront of you wont let you pass if you ask nicely.
neither would the grimm on your sides.
'they snuck up on me? no, they just now found me.'
you balled your fist and prepared yourself.
'i got unlucky. the second my team leaves this happens...'
you took a silent deep breathe, sliding a foot back and turning your tail from it's usual fluffiness to it's blade like sharpness with your semblance.
'alright....let's do this.'
------
'well, all's when that ends well!' Ruby thought to herself, watching as Jaune decapitated the Ursa with small difficulty.
"we should go congratulate him."
"or we can keep this a secret?" Pyrrha spoke to the girl.
"am i late?!"
they turned around, watching as 3 people ran up to them.
"awh...i was late."
"do you only care about the fact you couldn't fight the grimm Onyx?"
"of course."
"why did i think otherwise?" Claire sighed.
"why are you guys here?"
"(Y/n) heard a shout for help and set us 3 to investigate. it seems we were unneeded though."
"yeah, Jaune killed the ursa."
"really? huh...im impressed."
the, now 5, looked over at Jaune as they hid.
"come on, let's get out of here. we can pretend we didn't see a thing."
with hesitance, Ruby followed after Pyrrha as they left.
"i guess we should go tell (Y/n) everything is fine."
your team then followed after Ruby and Pyrrha, walking beside them.
as they walked, they noticed Ruby's, what seems to be, discomfort.
she just couldn't shake the feeling that something was oh so wrong.
with each step, she felt as if she was needed somewhere.
she felt like (Y/n) needed her right now.
her entire body and soul felt that way.
and she even found herself slowly steering towards the right, towards where she was being told on where to go.
but every time she caught herself, she corrected her path.
*BANG*
they all stopped.
they all looked over towards where the sound came from.
coincidentally, it was towards the right.
'i know that sound...that Caliber... it's (Y/n)'s gun!'
Ruby quickly dashed away from the group towards the sound.
the sound itself was quite obviously a gunshot.
after witnessing Ruby dash off, the rest of them were quick to follow.
there were more gunshots, some in a quick succession and some not.
it only increased Ruby's worry.
when she made it, she was able to see your distinct snow white fox ears.
