26 - Baby

I felt the breeze of the air in the tomb of my parents lay. I saw their names, and I smiled as we locate them. Akala ko nga madumi na 'to. Mukhang nalilinis naman. I placed the flower, and candles I am holding. "Masisipag ata ang mga tao rito maglinis, maayos kasi pa rin ito, akala ko natubuan na ng mga damo..."

Lucas only smiled at me, and kissed my forehead. He was carrying your baby, while hugging me. I kissed kath's feet. I turned to my parents's grave, "Hi, mama, and papa...I am here." I really don't know what to say. Uminit ang mata ko sa muling pagkikita namin. I missed them. Talagang bumibisita ako noon when I have the chance.

"I am sorry po..." I whispered, and offered a prayer. Lucas was very silent beside me while our daughter just blabbers different kinds of sound.

I closed my eyes, and I felt how peaceful it is to be here again. I left everyone, and I only thought of myself. I know my parents prayed to allow me back to my life it should be. Tumulo ang luha ko, at naglabas ako nang mahinang hikbi.

Lucas just lets me be, and gave me his handkerchief.

I will do my best to exist, at ngayon na naisip ko na lahat ng mga bagay na naiisip ko ngayon. Hindi ko na hahayaan ang sarili kong malunod sa mga bagay na hindi ko naman kontrolado. I will heal, and I will not force things.

Tumingin ako sa langit, at I saw how blue it is, and enough heat that's coming out from the sun. Pangatlong araw na namin sa probinsya, at sinurpresa ako ni Lucas na pumunta rito para raw makita ko ang magulang ko. As for my other relatives, I don't want to be involve with them anymore. Masyado silang magulo, at makasarili.

Ngayon na rin kami uuwi, and my previous days have been very calm. Normal na pagsasama ng asawa, at anak. All that I could ever dream of.

We are at an airplane, and watching all the pictures we had. This is our first trip after all the accidents. "Are you happy?" Nagulat ako sa tanong ni Lucas.

Ngumiti ako sakaniya. Oh, if you could hear how my heart beats for you , and our daughter. "I am, Love..."

He kissed my forehead, "I am happy too. Thank you..." Our whole flight was us smiling, and talking about what happened in the past, and our future plans. Hindi na rin kami sobrang nagtagal at bumalik na ng Manila.

"I'll fetch you later..." He kissed my lips, and I nodded.

"Sige, update kita, at dito lang naman kami..." Ngumiti kami sa isa't isa, at inalalayan niya na akong lumabas ng pinto sa sasakayan. I have a lunch date with my workmates. Nalaman ko na matagal na palang binalita ni Lucas kay Miss Jen ang tungkol sa amin kaya hindi na ito nangulit pa.

Masakit ang tyan ko kakatawa sa walang katapusang joke ni Ethan, at pagpaparinig nito sa aming mga katrabaho tungkol sa akin. The others are just laughing with us, mahirap talagang magtiwala sa mga katrabaho dahil ang galing nilang umarte sa harap mo.

"Okay, enough with that...I am happy with our growing team guys! Christmas na at gusto ko sanang magbigay ng gifts sainyo dahil sadly we cannot have a party dahil aalis ako with my family for a vacation." Miss Jen explained to us.

"Naku, ma'am pera ba yan?" Tanong ni Marissa sakaniya her secretary.

She smiled at us, at nagpalakpakan kaming lahat sa narinig. "You will get a 14th month of pay from me..."

"Yown!"

"Good shit yan, ma'am!"

I can hear all kinds of compliments from our table because this is a good news for most of us. Nakwento nga sa akin ni Ria na she struggles with her finances kasi yung tatay ng anak niya ginigipit sila. Naawa nga ako so I gave her additional cash, kahit sabi niya na hindi niya mababayaran. We are allowed to help, hindi naman palagiong utang so I insisted. I will definitely share my mone to her, and give the rest to my parents.
