Malaki ang pasasalamat ko na ayos na siya dahil parang isa na iyon sa pinaka nakakatakot sa buhay ko. I know my daughter can caught sickness, but she's still a child. It is hard for her to experience this. Super thankful to Lucas na kinaya niya magisa nung mga panahon na wala ako. I really love them both so much.
He kissed kath as well, and smiled at me. "Everything is good to go. Are you ready to go home?"
Sa narinig kong tanong sakaniya nakaramdam ako nang matinding pagod. I was sleepless in the whole three days that we are here. Palit palitan naman kami ni Lucas, it's just that ako lang ang hindi mapalagay. Ayoko talagang maranasan ng anak ko ang labas masok sa ospital. I mean it is not a bad thing, pero syempre siguro baka trauma ko na rin ito.
I felt his arms around me. "Tired?" Tumango ako, I can't lie at this point. Baka nakita niya na talaga sa body language ko ang pagod.
"Ako na muna, ah." Referring to kath.
Kumalas siya nang yakap sa akin, at kinuha ang baby carrier. "Parating naman na si Benjamin, he'll carry other things. Wendy is also waiting for you at the mansion."
Oh, him and his richness. I still can't believe how our life turned into this. With his simple dreams before, I am indeed impressed to the man I love. I mean, he is rich even before, but now mas lalo. He is also famous! And he is my husband.
"Thank you, but I can do it naman..."
He softly smiled at me, at "I know, but let me. All of this is for you...for you both. Please listen to me, hinayaan kita rito sa ospital na magalala kay Kath, but now please allow me to help you relax. I know it has been stressful for you."
I feel like tears are coming out of my eyes. Umiinit ang mata ko. This man is really the Lucas that I know. He wiped my tears using his thumb and kissed the trace of it.
"Later, I'll massage you so you can sleep." Kinuha niya na si Kath sa braso ko, and nilagay niya na ito sa carrier.
"I love you..." I sad while sniffing because of the short tears I had.
Inabutan niya ako ng tissue, "I love you more to bits, Love..."
As we savor the moment, narinig na namin ang katok mula sa labas ng pinto. Nagpakilala ito, at si Kuya Benjamin nga. Habang naiisip ko na pauwi kami mas nararamdaman ko na ang antok.
Kuya Benjamin greeted me, and carried our things na walang kahirap hirap. Lucas held my hand, and we walked to the elevator.
"Your sister really loves you so much, huh." Lucas blurtted out once we got inside the elevator.
"Bakit? Did she called you?"
"Yup, asking why are you in the hospital. She heard it from Jen."
"Kulang ata sinabi ni Maam sakaniya..." Kaya pala may mga message siyang iniwan sa akin na hindi ko pa lahat nababasa. May nakalagay lang na she will visit us next time. She is kind of busy dahil kay Max, hindi na rin ako nakabalita dahil ilang araw ako sa ospital.
"I explained everything to her, and she said she'll visit us once we are all settled." Tumango ako.
"She's been protective of me simula pa nung naaksidente ako..." siya naman nakatingin lang sa akin at tahimik na nakikinig.
