It was friday. Adam had already arrived.

"Ammi I'm going to Raina's house, im getting bored here", She told placing the blue dupatta on one side of her shoulder, brushing her hair she looked at herself in the mirror and murmured, "he was right, blue looks good on me".

It was the same dress Adam had choosen for her in the mall. She didn't want to leave it. It was the first time he recommended a suit for her, she would definitely buy it. On that day, she got the dress Munira selected, the next evening she went to the mall again, entered the same shop and picked out the dress he had selected. She had heard his conversation in the car, he knew he would fly to Spain in the coming week,
'I'll surprise you with this dress', saying this she got it packed and came home.
She carefully kept it in the closet and decided to wear it on the day he would arrive. Today was the day.

"She literally went 2 days ago", Munira spoke back on her statement,

"I know, i wanna talk to her about a few things", she said closing the door of her room, Munira stopped dusting, she looked at her daughter,

"Isn't this the dress you wanted to buy?", she asked coming closer to her and touching the fabric of the dress,

"Yeah"

"When did you get it?"

"The next day?"

"You could've bought a different design"

"No i needed this "

"You liked it that much?"

The question caught her off guard. She bought it because Adam liked it. She bought it because he told her she looked good in blue. She bought it because she knew he'd be surprised to see her wear it.

"Yeah, i liked it", she told hugging her mother and walking away,

"When will you be back home?",

"Maybe by evening, I'll call you before i leave her place", she told and smiled at her.

'You really don't like what i selected? Did i really didn't deserve to be your mother? Why can't i choose good for you? Why can't i give you good? You have raised yourself, you've proved yourself but what about me? When will i prove myself?' Munira's brain was now filled with thoughts.

Aarzu knocked on the door. There was no answer. She pressed the bell. Still no answer. She looked confused, 'is no one home?'

She called Raina. Once. Twice. Thrice. No response. 'Why isn't she picking up her call?'

She looked at the door again, 'okay a last try', She knocked really hard this time. Her knuckles shivered after she made sure it was loud enough.

"Coming", she was met with a voice.

'This isn't Raina's voice nor is it Paree auntys, who can it be?'

"Who is it?", the voice spoke again,

"Aarzu. 'the voice isn't of Laibah's either', Raina's friend", she told the other woman.

The door was opened by a girl around the age of Aarzu. She was taller than her. More stylish. More arrogant. More mature.
Her eyes looked at every part of her body. She wasn't modest. She wore a skirt but it covered her knees. Her top was tighter, it sketched her figure perfectly. Her hair were tied in a tight bun and the watch she wore was worth 29 lakhs.

'Is she a model? She's rich as well', Aarzu thought looking stunned.

The girl looked at Aarzu, her eyes held pride and arrogance. "What do you want?"
