'woah, he's like..an expert at this!' Jaune thought to himself.

of course you were. you often baked cookies for Ruby so it was something you'e become a master at.

after a while,  you 'dropped' some rounded balls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet. you put some more chocolate chips on for some extra decoration and made sure the dough was taller then they were wide.

once you had a sufficient amount of dough, both for the class and as gifts for your friends and Ruby, you placed them inside the preheated oven.

the degrees you ask? 

177 Celsius. or for you Americans, 350 Fahrenheit.

it turned into a long waiting game after that, and you spent the majority of that time staring inside the oven.

'..i did nothing..' Jaune thought.

little did he know he saved your entire emotional state just by getting what you needed.

'hey Jaune, could you ask the teacher for a small gift bag, if he has one that is? that would be grand.'

he nodded his head at you before doing exactly that

lucky you, the teacher did!

the reason he did was because students often baked valentines goods in here, so he eventually brought bags and wrapping paper for them.

he placed the bag on the countertop and just watched as you continued to stare at the oven.

he saw a small note on the countertop.

'thank you, you have no idea how grateful i am to you.'

he looked down at you, seeing you give him a thankful look before looking back.

'i didn't do anything though?'

once they baked, you took them out the oven. you placed them on a baking sheet for 3 minutes before gently sinking your fingers onto the top of the cookies you just baked.

'perfect.'

you grabbed the other cookies in the oven and did the same thing.

when they cooled enough, you put some into the small gift bag.

the rest of them got put onto small plates.

Jaune looked at the cookies, completely in awe.

'they look so good..'

he was even more surprised when a plate landed in his vie, two of the cookies on the plate.

'be careful, they still may be hot.'

you waked past him, holding a punch of plates on your arms and one on your tail.

you first went to the teacher, thanking him for allowing Jaune to get the chocolate cookies.

you then went to Yang, who was paired with Pyrrha.

then, it was Weiss with Onyx.

Nora with Blake.

Ren with Claire.

then eventually...

Ruby and Alice.

Ruby went to grab one, but you lightly slapped the hand away.

she looked at you slightly saddened, but you pointed a finger behind you.

she saw the small bag.

you walked back to your station and gave it to her when you came back.

inside the bag was a small note.
