she giggled at your confused state.

"i told Ozpin you were mute when i asked for your transfer, so he told me he would prepare written things for you to point at for lunch."

you nodded your head and a soft smile appeared.

you scanned the small menu, eventually pointing at what you wanted.

"oh! i was thinking of getting that as well." Ruby told you, grabbing your hand and joining the line.

you held her hand and stood next to you, your tail lightly swaying from side to side.

Ruby softly hummed as the both of you ever so slowly got to the front of the line.

when you did, she ordered for the both of you.

when you got your tray, you followed Rub to a table, where all 12 of you sat.

you sat next to Ruby and Yang.

you stared at the food for a short minutes, silently assessing it's look.

eventually, you took a bite.

you stopped.

"is it okay (y/n)?" she asked, noticing how you suddenly stopped all function.

the rest of the table all looked at you.

your head shot up, your eyes closed with a happy expression.

your tail slightly increased in speed of swinging back and forth.

everyone could swear they saw fluff balls hover around you.

everyone then looked away from you, covering their eyes.

'BRIGHT!'

Claire was the first to look back.

'OH MY GOD HE'S SO CUTE! I'M GONNA- EFNDAWJBFWKD.GAWKDHBDJAU' her brain malfunctioned.

'i love him so much.' Ruby thought, taking a bite of her own food.

lunch was overall a grand experience.

although your next lesson was even better!

you were paired with your best buddy.

all of you were given an apron.
