47) I Miss Him...

You wished you could turn back time, erase the call, and return to the moments when things were simpler when you and Y/N laughed and were still madly in love. However, those memories now felt distant.

As you walked further into the park, the universe seemed to mock you. A poster for LE SSERAFIM, the group to which Chaewon, Y/N's rumored girlfriend, belonged, met your gaze.

You remember at the ADOR building rumors were spreading that Y/N was seeing someone. You remember being mad every time you heard them, but now you are just sad... Sad that those rumors could be true... Sad that you know that the rumored girlfriend would treat him better than you...

Your heart sank as you gazed at the poster, and you couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy. You hoped Chaewon was treating Y/N well, even though it meant accepting that he had moved on. You knew he deserved happiness, even if it wasn't with you...

You remember from the short time you finally met Chaewon, she was sweet and caring. Her thoughtful gifts, and her frequent visits – they all show she had a special connection with Y/N.

It was evident that Chaewon was an amazing person, but the fact that Y/N might be happier with her only made you more upset.

As you continued to stare at the poster, your heartache grew. You try to smile knowing that Y/N would be better off with her than you. With a heavy heart, you made your way back to the dorm, each step heavier than the last.

After a short while, you finally made it back to the door. As you open the door, your best friend/leader is there waiting for you with an angry face and her arms folded.

Minji: "Where were you?" She said, her tone showing that she was obviously angry. "How can you just sneak out like that and not tell anyone," she said. "I was worried about you!" She said making you feel bad.

However, although you understood why Minji was mad, you didn't want to tell her the reason for your disappearance. You looked at the floor and stood there silent.

After a small, tense silence, you didn't dare to meet Minji's gaze, but she suddenly noticed something amiss. Her perceptive eyes honed in on the telltale signs of your distress.

Minji: "Your eyes are red," she observed, her tone now gentle. "Were you crying? What's wrong?" Her initial frustration had softened into genuine concern.

As she said that, you could feel your walls slowly crumble away...

Hanni: "I..." you muttered, hesitating for a moment. You felt sad but you weren't ready to talk about it yet.

You stood there silent, trying to hold back tears as memories of you and Y/N filled your mind. You could feel yourself sniffling, and tears slowly coming out of your eyes.

Just then Minji then hugged you...

Minji: "It's okay..." she said her voice gentle and caring. "You can tell me anything... I'm your best friend remember... I'll always be here to support, you know... No matter what..." she said. Her words touched you and you let the floodgates open.

You begin to cry waterfalls, soaking Minji's shirt with your tears. As you sobbed you decided to confide in Minji.

Hanni: "It's Y-Y/N," you admitted, your voice quivering with emotion. "I-I t-tried to talk to h-him and start o-over, but he d-doesn't want to, not e-even as f-friends..." you said as you sobbed.

Minji's expression shifted from surprise to empathy as she processed your words.

Minji: "I didn't know," she replied, her voice filled with understanding, as she realized the depth of your pain.

Your eyes welled up with tears, and you struggled to hold back the overwhelming emotions that had been building up inside you.

Hanni: "I m-messed up, M-Minji..." you confessed, your voice barely above a whisper. "I-I m-miss him."

Minji sighed, uncrossing her arms and moving closer to you, her anger now replaced by empathy and support.

Minji: "It's okay, Hanni," she reassured you gently, she said as she patted you on the back. "Mistakes happen in relationships. You should try to talk to him and sort things out," she said, as you buried your head deeper in her chest.

Hanni: "I-I already tried t-talking to h-him..." you stuttered, not able to say the full words. "He d-doesn't w-want to t-talk to m-me..." you said as you cry even more.

Minji: "Well... Hanni if you let this go now it only going to leave you to regret... You should try talking to him... This time in person..." she said softly.

Nodding in agreement, you allowed your tears to flow freely, the weight of your emotions too heavy to contain any longer.

Hanni: "I miss him so much," you admitted, your voice trembling. "I don't want anyone else. I love him, Minji," you confessed to her.

Minji placed a comforting hand on your back, her touch conveying both empathy and encouragement.

Minji: "Hanni, it's going to be okay," she assured you, her eyes filled with sincerity. "You need to talk to him. If he's the one, you have to try. Leave no room for regrets, and maybe something beautiful can come out of it."

You looked into Minji's eyes, your gratitude for her support filling your heart. You knew that facing Y/N and confronting the mess you had made would be a daunting task.

You just hope everything can return back to the way they were. Back to the good old days when you and he could hold hands and smile like there was no tomorrow.
