Y/N's POV

As you peered through the small window on the practice room's door, your heart weighed heavy with a tangled mix of emotions.

There she was, Hanni, the girl who had once been the sun in your universe, the source of boundless joy and affection.

A pang of nostalgia surged within you, accompanied by a faint touch of regret. Ador's being under HYBE hadn't crossed your mind until now, and you knew that encountering Hanni was unavoidable within the HYBE building. This thought hit you with a strange blend of anticipation and unease.

You definitely weren't ready to see her yet much less talk to her. Your feelings were still there even after all this time. Right now...

All you wanted to do was walk inside the room and give her the biggest hug. You want to tell Hanni how much you missed her. But you knew you couldn't.

Not only did you not have the courage to do so but also there would be no reason. Hanni fell out of love with you... You don't matter to her anymore.

Hanni stood bathed in the soft embrace of the studio lights, her smile as radiant as you remembered

Hanni stood bathed in the soft embrace of the studio lights, her smile as radiant as you remembered. She chatted animatedly with Minji, her eyes sparkling with happiness. That was the smile you had always loved, the smile that held an entire world of warmth and affection.

She looked so incredibly happy, and that sight stirred a whirlwind of emotions. While you had been striving to move on, the depth of your feelings was undeniable. You had shared dreams, laughter, and love, and that couldn't be erased easily.

You watched as the practice began, the music filling the air. Hanni's graceful movements were a testament to her talent and dedication. She was in her element, dancing with a carefree spirit.

She seemed genuinely at ease, a stark contrast to the turmoil that had held you captive for these past months.

A question gnawed at you: had the breakup affected her as deeply as it had affected you?

The breakup left you in shambles. But for her did it mean anything?

As you looked at Hanni, the laughter and happiness you witnessed she was expressing was a stark reminder that life moved forward, even if the wounds within your heart were still mending.

It is clear to anyone that she has already moved on...

With a heavy sigh, you turned away from the window. You were trying so hard to let go, to move on, but the grip of the past was tenacious.

As you left the building, you felt the weight of Hanni's memory trailing behind you, a haunting presence that had no intention of fading completely.

The image of her smiling face lingered in your mind like a soft echo, a reminder of a love that had once felt unshakable.

As you stood outside the gas station, the pull of a pack of cigarettes was irresistible. It had been a crutch during your darkest hours, a way to find a semblance of solace amidst the chaos of your emotions.

The flicker of the lighter's flame felt like a connection to a past that was simpler before love's complexities had revealed themselves

The flicker of the lighter's flame felt like a connection to a past that was simpler before love's complexities had revealed themselves.

As the smoke curled around you, you couldn't help but reflect on how much had changed. Just last year, you were enveloped in the warmth of love, and now you were grappling with the shadows it had cast. But there was a silver lining – your career was on an upward trajectory. Finally, after a long time, life seemed to be casting a smile in your direction.

Your thoughts meandered to the future, to the possibility of finding someone who would cherish you, someone who would be there through thick and thin. "I hope I find that soon," you whispered to the night air, your exhaled smoke a silent promise to yourself.

With the scent of smoke lingering, you turned away from the gas station, your footsteps carrying you toward the horizon. The darkness of the night seemed to envelop you, but within it, you held a tiny flame of hope, believing that with time, healing and growth would come, reshaping your path in ways you could only imagine.
