Razor unfinished fluff - wolfhook juice

(Y/n) took in a deep breath of forest air. They had been a conservationist in training for almost a year now and this assessment would likely make it a full one. (Y/n) was tasked to study the wolf population in Wolvendom in place of another conservationist who recently fell ill.

(Y/n) walked off path into the brush in search for the wolf pack, a wolfhook  staffed their leg "these are everywhere arnt they?" They ripped the berry off their pants leaving a small mostly unnoticeable hole. *Russell Russell* a bush near by shook

(Y/n) crouched down behind a tree pulling out a pad of paper to take note of the wolf about to pop out of the bush. A small brown shape piped out of the bush, tan lines marked its back, a boar.

"Gosh dang it" (Y/n) huffed quietly "grrh? SQWEE!!" The pig squealed running right at (Y/n). A dark gray mass much larger then the boar darted out of the bushes catching the pig in it's jaws just before it bashed it's head into (Y/n)

(Y/n) shock startled by the beast in front of her. The wolfs amber eyes seemed to glow as they stared holes into (Y/n) "grrrr" it let out a low warning growl. (Y/n) scooted away slowly but the wolf kept approaching "what are doing here?" A boy around (Y/n)s age said popping out from behind the wolf

"I- I'm doing a population check on the wolfs in the area until further notice" (Y/n)s vision darted from boy to wolf "what happen to gray lady?" The boy tilted his head "gray lady...? Wait Margaret? She got the cold... wait who are you? Why are you here?" (Y/n) sat up more from the ground

"I am wolf lupical, they are family" the boy moved his hand closer to the wolf brushing its fur against his arm "I am Razor" he put his hand to his chest "who is you?" He pointed toward you "I am (Y/n)" they said putting a hand out to shake earning a small grumble from the wolf

Razor hesitated but put his hand to your. You ment for a hand shake but Razor pulled you to your feet awkwardly "hmm? Not ment to do?" He questioned seeing your puzzled face "yes- well no er I ment to shake your hand but I can see how you though I needed to be helped up" you smiled "what is...hand shake?"

Razor looked down at his hand and began shaking it up and down "it's a greeting- here put your opposite hand in mine" (Y/n) put their hand out "o k" Razor limply put his hand to (Y/n)s

(Y/n) put a light grip on razors hand before beginning to shake it lightly up and down "people tend to shake hands like this for three shakes, one up, then down, then up again" (Y/n) shook his hand to their words "then you'd let go and place your arm to your side" razor noded "hmm let me do" he placed his hand out again

You placed your hand in his and this time you both put a hood on each others before shaking up, down, and up again "hand...shake" razor mumbled to himself before taking his hand back "you...um told that gray lady was cold? Can I bring her cloth to be warm?"

"Margaret is sick with the cold she's not physically cold" (Y/n) explained, the boys red eyes seemed to concentrate for a moment "how do make good er?" He spoke "do you mean 'how do we help her feel better'?" Razor nodded eagerly "well we could make her food?" (Y/n) suggested "make cooked meat make  gray lady better?"

"Well Margaret's very old her teeth-" (y/n) pointed to their teeth in fear he didn't know the word " are bad, she can't chew meat...maybe-" you picked another wolfhook that clung to your pants, squeezing it lightly "wolfhook juice?" Razor nodded "gray lady liked to take- er pick wolfhook"

(Y/n) spent a while picking wolf hooks with razor as he told story's of wolf life along with giving them info on how many wolfs where in his pack currently, (Y/n) in return told stories of academic life along with explaining new words to him

"I think this should be enough" (Y/n) said lifting and lowering the overflowing bag of wolfhook berries to show off its weight "yes, yes we make juice now!" Razor grinned "hmm ah- here it is" they said pulling a glass out of their bag "we just need to crush them into here"

They came up with a system due to the small size of the cup, (Y/n) squeezes one then Razor squeezes one until the cup is full. By the end of it their hands where sticky and tinted purple, (Y/n) pulled out a water bottle to clean their hands but razor just licks his clean before (Y/n) forces him to wash his hands

"Now we just have to head up to spring vale and drop this off" (Y/n) smiled. The two walked towards springvale, well more acutely (Y/n) walked and razor zig zagged back forth from tree to tree to stone to twig "smells like...strange wolf" He growled

"Hmm? Maybe it's just from people walking their dogs around here" (Y/n) nodded at their thought "do-og?" Razor tilted his head "they um are like tiny wolfs that rely on humans to take care of them"

I'm sorry I lost motivation to continue this but basically

They give the wolfhook juice to gray lady she jokes about them being a couple (Y/n) denies it, razor dosnt say anything till they leave and asks them what a couple is, (Y/n) is explains, later when their closer they go star gazing and razor explains how they fit (Y/n)s description of a couple  except they don't kiss then he quickly kisses them on the cheek leaving (Y/n) an embarrassed mess
