Gorou angst -> fluff - blind sided

*knock knock knock* Gorou reaped on the door to (Y/n)s house "It's me, Gorou!" he called out. The door opened slowly a chain still attaching it to the wall, (Y/n) peaked out of the door "...who?" He felt a deep pit form in his chest "me? Your boyfriend (Y/n)?" He said hoping this was a joke in poor taste "what?! Go away you creep!" They huffed slamming the door

That was the day (Y/n) had their vision taken. For weeks Gorou came back to their door pleading that their lover remember them but (Y/n) never budged even fearing he may have gone mad.

"(Y/n), if I was a stranger then how would I know your name!" He cried through the door tears cloaking his vision "I don't know! All I know is that I don't know you" They huffed through the door "(y-y/n)" the dog boy sniffed "...I don't know you...sorry" they mumbled through the door

-time skip later that day-

"Don't worry Gorou, after we win this war we'll return their vision and they'll remember you!" Kokomi said rubbing Gorou's back as he sobbed "h- *sniff* how do you...know they'll remember *sniff* me" he cried "well-...we have to have hope Gorou" she said pulling him into a hug tears beginning to form in her own eyes "...tomorrow" he mumbled "hmm?" Kokomi hummed sadly "come visit them with me tomorrow...please"

-time skip next day-

*knock knock* kokomi lightly taped (Y/n)s door "...I'm sorry I don't know you just please...go away" they called not even opening the door "(Y/n) it's me Kokomi" there was a pause

"...ko ko mi" (Y/n) tried out the name "I...I know that name" they opened the door again leaving the chin connecting it to the wall to peek out "...why do...I barely remember...that name" they looked emptily at kokomi "You lost your vision (Y/n) it took your memory's"

"...*sigh* that boy...gorso? He said something similar" (Y/n) looked toward the ground "Gorou, he's your boyfriend (Y/n) you've been together for years" kokomi explained calmly as Gorou peeked out from behind her, ears still low to his head in grief

-time skip month-

As (Y/n) was reminded of their memory their health faltered to the point they where bedridden.

Gorou ran through the streets, a second geo vision in hand, (Y/n)s vision. As soon as traveler went to fight the raiden shogun Gorou had grabbed it. His legs burned as his muscles tore but he didn't care he needed to get to them as soon as he could.

He didn't bother to knock, flinging the now unlocked door open "(Y/N)!" He called into the quiet house, thoma was ment to watch them but with the war at full blast he needed to leave their side for the time being not long, it should have been fine. Gorou's ears flicked for the slightest hint of noise

Breathing, faint breathing. Gorou ran through the house not caring about the mud on his shoes or the rain dripping off his fur, "(Y/n), (Y/n)! Here take this" he cried kneeling by their bedside as he cupped their hands around the dulling vision

Nothing happened, Gorou watched as their breathing got fainter and fainter with the dieing glow of their vision "..(Y/n)..." his voice shook. he placed his forehead on their hands "please..."

The room was silent except for the quiet sound of a visions hum, their breathing had stoped. Gorou felt heavy, he couldn't move he couldn't think all he could do was cry.

Dispite how heavy Gorou felt his shoes felt as though they where being dragged off his feet

He lifted his head, mud from his shoes floated through the air around (Y/n) as their eyes shook ever so slightly behind their clouded lids. They took a deep breath, and the mud around them fell causing as their vision began to glow brighter then even Gorou's

"...*gasp* *huff* G-Gorou?!" they cried pulling him closer to them "(Y/N)...your alive" he clung to their back as he pulled himself onto the bed with them "...what the hell happened" they mumbled louder then they've spoken in weeks "...so much"

He cried into their neck as they ran their fingers through his hair with their other arm around his waist"d-don't do that *sniff* EVER again" he begged "I won't, I won't ever" they held onto his waist tighter "I'm tired" Gorou mumbled into (Y/n)s neck "so am I" they said as they began to close their eyes falling asleep to the sound of Gorou's breathing and Gorou to the sound of theirs
