Three glasses of ice tea, served by Jen. She looks at all three of them as Danny and his friends are all together, having a conversation between the three of them. Smiling, happy Danny isn't alone, walks back to Gary.

Sitting next to Gary. Gary, noticing Danny being with his friends, having an amazing time with them. "Hey."

Jen looks at Gary, gaining her attention. "Hey."

Silence erupts between the two for a few minutes. Before he says something out of his mouth. "The only thing I noticed ever since those three kids are together is you staring at them." Jen looks at Gary. Finding it a bit annoying.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't deny it Jen, you're staring at them. For far too long now." Jen doesn't respond immediately for a while. She stops staring at them. Before revealing what she wants to say.

"It's just that... it's always me and Danny. Danny, well he does have a few friends, but not so many. It's always me he would go too but now looking at him, he seems like he's not alone anymore." Gary sympathises with her.

He holds her hand. Noticing the feeling from her hand, she looks at him touching her hand. Holding it gently, passionately. "He'll be okay Jen. Let him be, just like how he let us be alone for a while." They both laugh.

"So you and Tom fought?" Danny asks in disbelief.

Joe doesn't answer immediately. "They did." Said Amy.

Danny is unsure if it's true or not. Even after what Tom tried to do to Danny yesterday, trying to hurt Joe and possibly doing something to Amy that in his level is considered to be, unforgiveable, goes into his mind. Unable to comprehend everything.

"Tom... he was really strange today. He kept asking where you were. Like all the time. And at this point he seems, you know, obsessed with you." Said Joe. Danny doesn't know what to say next. Before Amy brings up a few facts she wants to reveal.

"He sat behind us. Probably expecting you to arrive with us but you never came. And the way he was, we didn't want to reveal the truth on what's going on with you. We just told him you were ill, sick. And that you had to stay at home so that you would feel better, recovered, even though you're at home looking fine to us." Danny laughs over this. "But he didn't really give in to that fact. Didn't believe any of our bullshit. He still insisted. Something an crazy ex-girlfriend would do after a big breakup." Which Danny and Joe laughs a bit at.

"Then after school, Tom came by. Approaching us again. And he looked more weirder than he was before. Or more or less, crazy and a bit unhinged. He even grabbed Amy." Danny becomes shocked over this.

"I'm sorry he did what!!!"

"Yes and then when I tried to stop him and warned him, he got more mad. More crazy. And then this is when the fight started." Danny looks at Amy. Amy looks at Danny back with a nod. Revealing what Joe is saying is true. Why Joe got those wounds on his face.

"I have to admit, Tom is tough. He was able to get the best out of me but that was the only strength he could give as I got myself back and fucked him up." He laughs but Danny and Amy aren't laughing about this. It's not a topic to laugh over about. It's really serious. Noticing Danny and Amy not laughing over this, immediately stops. Knowing they're not finding it funny.

"I couldn't believe Tom would go this far, just because of me." Amy touches Danny's hand.

"We know but the way he was, he doesn't seem like the type of person you should be with." Joe agrees too.

"If we see him again, just avoid him. But if he goes too far, let the headteacher know about it. Because whatever he's doing right now, it's starting to bother us even more a lot." Amy said. Joe did get himself in trouble with the headteacher too but got an 'ok' pass with him, despite gaining a one week detention from him.

They all lay themselves down. Thinking, unsure what to do in the house. Their eyes not focused on each other, just staring at what's in front of them. Blank, nothing without a thought.

"So what happened last night that made you not want to come to school today? And by the way, you made an amazing choice in not coming to school after what me and Amy just told you." Danny laughs.

"You got that right. It's my sister. Something happened to her... and me." Amy and Joe look at each other. This is a bit worrying for the both of them.

"What do you mean something happened to her, and you? Was there some intruder breaking in to your house?" Danny looks at him.

"No... I mean I guess." Amy and Joe become shocked. Realising someone came to his house. Planning to do God knows what.

"So someone was inside your house?" Asked Amy.

"I think so. Because I stabbed someone on the neck. And that person punched me in the face. He knocked me out real good. And the first thing I heard after getting myself knocked out was my sister, locked in her room. Screaming, crying for help." Joe and Amy are unsure what to say next. Struggling to comprehend what they just heard. Until Joe gains a realisation from looking at Tom's neck.

"Did you say, you stabbed someone on the neck?" Danny looks at Joe.

"Yes." The look Joe is giving to him is making Danny nervous.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Oh nothing, nothing. It's just that, it looks similar to the one Tom had on his neck. And it looked fresh. Untreated." Some theory, some suspicion Joe had about Tom. Danny becomes surprised and confused.

"What did his wound look like?"

"It's like he's been stabbed or something. But he said he fell off his bike. That's all me and Amy could gain from him." If so, Danny accepts Tom's 'answer'.

Gary walks by. The three noticed him coming inside the living room with a smile on his face. Happy to see Danny being with other people.

"Hey kids, how have you been?" They all look at him.

"We're all good. Just having a conversation. How about you? You still smooching my big sister." Amy and Joe laugh over what Danny has just said. Gary laughs at that remark too.

"Kinda. Now back to what I just wanted to say. Jen has told me you kids can go outside and do what you want." All of them look at each other. Becoming surprised over what he has just said.

"I'm sorry, umm what do you mean, we can go out."

Joe stops Gary for a bit. "That means we can go somewhere."

"Yes, that is what I just said. As long as you kids make it back before 10. Cause once we hit 10, I'll call your parents to pick you up, so that they won't bother Jen over their kids not being back home after a long day. Even if so, don't get yourselves into trouble. I mean it." Damn, Gary is acting like a dad to the teenagers. But his line delivery is really good. Nothing to complain about. But enough to impress Danny. He's getting close to being part of the family.

"Sure thing."

"The latest bus will arrive at 18:00, we don't want to miss it." Said Amy. Danny and Joe agree.

"Well what are you waiting for? Catch that bus and don't miss the fun." As all three get themselves ready.

All the teenagers are ready, ready to go outside and do what they want to do for fun. Before Danny puts on his shoe, he runs to Jen. Wanting to say goodbye to his sister before he goes out with his friends.

"You sure you'll be okay big sis." Jen hugs him tight. She's going to miss him a bit.

"I'll be okay."

"You better, at least Gary is with you. I don't want you to be alone after what happened last night." Jen laughs. She gives Danny a quick kiss on the top of his head before letting him go.
Danny catches up with Amy and Joe. Puts his shoe on before unlocking the front door. Closing and locking the door before they leave.

Luckily, the bus has just arrived. All three of them go inside the bus, getting their bus tickets. With that done, the bus drives off. Jen looks at the window to see Danny leaving the house. Gary approaches her and hugs her. Comforting her as they look on.
