"Don't fucking Lie to me Alex! either me or Chat have been around you the past few weeks and they have not layed a Finger on you" Raya raised her voice.
I looked at her speechless.
She brought her hand to her head and groaned. "I'm sorry"
"Can we discuss this tomorrow, I'm not driving you home. I refuse"
I gave in and followed her inside, almost instantly getting greeted by her mother.
"Hey girls, where's your brother?" She asked.
"Something happened and he wanted to stay" Raya said.
"Did you drive?"
"Yeah.."
"But you don't even have a learners yet"
"It was an emergency, plus, I'm literally a better driver than him" She states.
Her mother sighs "that not the point, sweetheart"
"Ok, we are tired goodnight mom"
"See you two in the morning"
When we made it to Rayas room she gave me something to sleep in and went to her bathroom.
I took off her hoodie and looked at my body.

I pulled out the lighter from my Jean pockets.
Sliding my thumb across the top I hold it to my skin.
I hissed. I hope she didn't hear that. I held the flame against my skin until it started to show. Then I moved to the next area of my skin.
I jumped when i heard a knock. "Alex what are you doing in there?"
I quickly rushed to put the clothes on and opened the door. Smiling so she didn't suspect anything.
Her eyes trailed down to my arms again.
I hated it when people looked at my scars.
"Do you wanna go to bed?"
I'm not really tired yet..
"Ok what do you wanna do?"
I furrowed my eyebrows. Is she joking.
She then grabbed my hand and dragged me the backyard, which is massive.
Raya dragged me till we were in this forest looking area.
She continued guiding me till we were found at a large swing that was tied up against a tree.
She then went behind the tree and plugged something in.
And to my shock the place lit up and the sight infront of me was beautiful.
Fairy lights littered the large tree, Showing the vines and bushes that I could just barely make out before.
This place looked like it was pulled straight out of a fantasy book.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Raya was now behind me. I jumped a little at her voice but relaxed.
"Are we gonna sit down or..." the blonde grinned at me to which I just roled my eyes to.
We sat down and felt something land on my shoulder.
I looked down to see see a little blonde blob resting on my shoulder.
I felt myself laying my cheek against her head.
I felt good.. I felt safe.
"Alex"
I hummed.
She went silent for a momment.
"How does James know about your family?" She asked.
I closed my eyes. I knew she would pick up on that.
I pulled my phone out of Rayas baggy shorts and started typing.
We used to date.
