I just came back to my cabin after having meeting for straight 3 hours. Hectic day

Pavitra- Hey Tanu! What are you doing? Did I disturb you?

Tanya- Hello Matashree just came to cabin after 3 meetings and no you didn't

Pavitra- ok and do you know what happened at school today

And we talked and she said something unexpected

Pavitra- Tanu can I ask you a favour

Tanya- You are my mom, you just need to demand and it'll be done

Pavitra- Can you come to India? It's been years you've been home everyone misses you Amma and nanna are longing to see you atleast for 3 months

Tanya- Amma you know it's not easy for me to come there, I tried but it wasn't possible

Right after that Zoh burst into my cabin." I heard you talking to aunty, why did you lie you don't have any meetings now" she almost yelled. "Hi! Zoh I am fine and thanks for evesdropping also bursting into my office without any intimation " I said with full sarcasm "stop being sarcastic Ms. Tanya" and she sat down I passed her water to cool her down

"Thank you. Now tell me why did you lie" she asked again, my god this girl is seriously insane "Because my answer will be no like always and I don't wanna hurt her" I said being obvious "So you think not answering her wil not hurt her" she asked with an deep eye contact, she is scary.

"Atleast not directly" I cut the eye contact "Tan stop it now, for a month atleast go to India, it's been 4 years you came here and from then you didn't went back even for once, I know maa, pinni, babai, mama, atta and kids are frequently visiting but what about ammama and tatha, you didn't went for anyone's birthday, not even to close relatives weddings I know you went through something harsh and we gave you time but it's time you need to move on from it. Pls." Zoh said I don't know this why do I feel like that I need to go but still something was stuck "But Zoh it's not that easy" I said looking down

I am hesitant but deep down I know that I want that before Tanu who is mentally strong, carefree but I don't know why I am not trying for her I think this is the shot and this time I am gonna take it. "YES! I'll go to India and not for one month but for three, umm atleast I'll try to be." I sighed for the first I listened to someone in conversation like this.

Aan is on vedio call" she said and turned phone towards me "I am proud of you my little rockstar" Aan shouted from the other side "WE ARE PROUD OF YOU" now they both including Lily shouted why wouldn't they ofc they'll, me going India before 1 week it was impossible now here we are out of nowhere.

"So mam for when do you want me to book tickets" Lily asked I closed my eyes took a deep breath and said "Anytime but make sure it's before navratri" they 3 looked shocked "Are you sure? We are not forcing you to go that early, you can like ...."

"Do you remember your Zeeps birthday is in 2 days and we planned nothing, so my work completed early I have no surgeries for today so why don't we do it today" Oh shit that just slipped out of my mind.
