"Hey let's go to the nursery." Seokmin said seeing my sad eyes "Minji is probably waiting for us you know." He said slipping his arms around my waist

"Yeah," I said turning away to look at my boyfriend

"Soo, Heeseung is going to be okay." He said caressing my face

We go to the nursery and see the Jeongcheol couple standing outside seeing the older babies play around and the newborns in the small cribs through the glass

Jeonghan had sparkling eyes, but of course, focused on only one baby there and tried to guess which one

Jungwon

"Han, Cheol come," I said opening the door to the big room full of quiet babies

Jeonghan stopped in front of the baby's yellow crib where Jungwon was sleeping

"Cheol look at him he's so cute." He said

"Looks like you Hannie." Seungcheol said

I look behind me and see Seokmin admiring sleeping Minji

He got attached too

I go behind Seokmin and hug him

"Can we adopt her?" Seokmin asked

I let out a chuckle

"You want to be a father?" I asked

"Yeah I do, but with you it makes me want more." He said turning around and putting my hands on my waist

I blush

"Dokyeom we are in a nursery chill your butt down." I said

He laughs

"That's your baby?" Seungcheol asked looking at us

"Our baby?" I asked

"Well I mean look at that, if you guys aren't adopting her now you're probably in the future." He said

"I hope you're right." Seokmin said

I look at him

I should talk to him later

"Shua can I pick him up?" Jeonghan asked a little shy

"Of course you can." I said "Do you know how to pick a baby up?" I asked

"N-no." He said

"I can show." Seokmin said

He turned to Minji's beige crib and picked her up carefully, she was so tiny compared to seokmins chest it was adorable

I took a photo of that moment

Jeonghan turns to Jungwon's crib and picks him up just like Seokmin did to Minji, he held baby Jungwon in his arms like it was about to break.

"Han relax he's not gonna break." I said

Seungcheol goes behind Jeonghan and I took a picture they look like a family

We stayed there, talking quietly with the babies in our arms, the nurses came in to take care of them and we went downstairs

"Heeseung stop, give me the controller." A voice anyone would recognize, even though young Beomgyu had a strong accent

"Is that a Daegu accent?" Seungcheol asked

Seungcheol is from Daegu too

"Yeah, Beomgyu was born in Daegu." I said

"Heeseung give it to him!" Jimin said

"No, it's mine." Heeseung said

"Nothing here is yours." Jeongin said

"Hey, what's going on here." I said stepping in between Heeseung and the other three boys

"Joshy?!" Heeseung said

"Joshua hyung, heeseung won't share." Beomgyu said

"Heeseung." I look at him

"Fine." He said giving the controller to Beomgyu

"Thank you." Beomgyu said

"Heeseung come here." I said going to the kitchen and sitting him down on a counter "What's going on?" I asked

"I'm I gonna be adopted?" he asked quietly

Oh...

"I don't know." I said "But why are you sad?" I asked

"Because I don't want to be adopted by them." He said

"Heeseung, you probably don't know but they must be really good parents." I said

He just hugged my neck and I felt tears

"Aww Hee, please don't cry." I said hugging him back "Here do you want a doughnut?" I asked

"Yeah." He said muffled because of my neck

I open the doughnut box and grab a strawberry one

"Here." I said giving it to him

He takes his face out of my neck, and with teary eyes, he grabs the doughnut and takes a bite

We stay in comfortable silence when I feel arms around my waist

"Hey." Seokmin said

"Hi," I said

We watch Heeseung finish his doughnut when one of the staff enters the kitchen

We go back to the main area and we see Seungcheol playing with Beomgyu and Jeonghan smiling behind them

"Hey kids we got doughnuts!" I shout

All the kids immediately make a line in front of me, I lead them to the kitchen and there is a floor mat they all sit there and we give the doughnuts

"Beomgyu looks like he liked you." I said to Seungcheol

"He's super funny, reminds me of when I was a kid." He said taking a bite of his doughnut

"He's super shy, he only shows his true self around people he's comfortable with." I said

"He's a funny kid, definitely had me laughing my ass off." Jeonghan said

"Jeonghan! Language!" I said

"Oops." He said chuckling

"I think we should go it's late." Seungcheol said

"Yeah, I agree." Seokmin said

When we were going to the front door, I saw Heeseung smiling and playing with the other kids, I felt a hand in mine and looked at our hands, Seokmin pulled me closer, I feel better knowing his better now.

We say our goodbyes go to our cat and head home, when we enter our house I go to the bathroom to take a shower and Seokmin makes lunch for us, I go down and see the plates all on the table.

We eat our lunch and clean up, we go up to our room while Seokmin goes to take a shower I layer down in the bed. Before I could fall asleep Seokmin came to lay down in the bed.

"Baby, are you still thinking about him?" He asked

I nod

"Come here let's rest for a bit." He said bringing me closer to him

But why doesn't Heeseung want to be adopted by them?
