It's 9pm, bed time for six year old Jessica. Jessica usually sleeps at 9pm. A bit late for her as children her age always sleep between 8 to 9pm. Before going to bed, she would always watch her favourite show Peppa Pig. This show has been going on for years now, her parents are always thinking how is this show still alive. It's no wonder they couldn't keep up with what she's watching during this time of the night.

"You brushed your teeth?"

"Yes mom."

"Good, now go to sleep." Her mom raises herself out of the bed as her little Jessica remains in her bed. Out of the bed, she prepares to leave her bedroom.

"Mommy?" She hears and turns her attention to her.

"Yes honey." With a smile on her face.

"I want to hear a bedtime story." Her mom looks a little hesitant about it. She seems so tired to give her little girl a bedtime story. She really wants to go back to her husband and have movie night with him.

"You sure honey? Mommy feels tired. Can we do it tomorrow night?" She didn't seem to pleased over what she has just said. It made her a little sad but she hides it with her funny, happy smile.

"Mommy, I want it now. You always read the best bedtime stories. Better than daddy." Her mom looks at her with a funny look.

"Really, I'm the better reader than daddy. Oh come here you..." She jumps into the bed, tickling and cuddling Jessica as she laughs. Her hug is so warm and comfortable. It's way better than the bed she's sleeping on. She always loves her mom sleeping next to her in the past but by the age of 5, her parents wanted her to start sleeping on her own so that she won't be scared being alone in the dark. The only thing she has with her is her brown dog toy with a rose on its mouth. It's one of her favourite toys and she never feels alone with it.

"Alright, I'll tell you a story, and it's not from one of these books you always want me to
read." Jessica laughs and promises she would listen to this new made up story her mom can make up.

"Okay. Let me tell you the story of a young little boy who only has his dad with him." Jessica
looks a little confused when she notices her mom only mentioned the dad but not the mom,
wondering if that little boy even has a mommy. A mommy to be with him during his time of night.

"Where's the mommy?"

"Oh the mommy isn't with him. She left and went to the light when she gave birth to her little boy. The dad promised to take care of his little boy throughout his whole life... till the very end."

"Ooooo that sounds like a good story. Does he go an adventure? I love adventures mommy."

"Yes I know you love adventures my little googly bear. Now, when he goes out to get the crops for his farm, in there he meets a girl. A beautiful girl, she goes by the name of Gwen. Gwen is a girl who goes to the crops alone because it's the only place where she feels happy. A place where she can be alone. She was so beautiful the boy wanted to talk to her. He was shy, so shy she decided to go to him, saying a simple hi. The boy looks at her but still nervous to give her the look, he finally makes a word. The girl has a beautiful smile which she gives him and reveals her name. She asked him if she wants to walk around. But the dad doesn't want him to go further into the woods but the boy, so infatuated by the sight of this woman follows her. But unfortunately he was never seen again." Jessica gets more and more curious, she wanted to know if that little boy is still around, alive and walking. She's starting to think the woman could be a witch, ensnaring him into her beautiful presence. Her mother laughs at that remark.

"I'm not finished yet honey. So the father noticed it's been hours, his little boy should have
been back by now. So he decided to go out to the crops. But as he roamed around the area, he
wasn't there. Not even in other areas, the father panicked. He started becoming scared, his little boy hasn't been seen and he hasn't come out to him. Scared, he decided to venture out into the woods to find him."

"Oh, oh, this is where the adventure begins."

"Exactly, so he ventured into the woods. Over the way, he comes across wolves, bats flying around the woods. Unusual for bats to fly in the woods as you see, bats normally fly in their caves, as this is where they live. Shockingly, the woods here are magical. All the wolves are friendly. One wolf came to him. He kneeled before him. The father, all he cares is to find his son, asks the friendly wolf to track where his little boy is. The wolf listened so he sniffed this scarf that belonged to his son. The wolf, getting the scent, can smell him. Because of it, the wolf runs. The father, feeling he might be able to find his son, follows the wolf." Jessica's eyes wide open to this amazing adventure the father of the little boy is going through to get him back.

"What happens next mommy?"

"Then the wolf stopped at his tracks to where he is now, he sees a house full of chocolates." Jessica laughs at this remark.

"Chocolate house?"

"Umm yeah you could call it a chocolate house. But weary of it, the father goes inside. Inside
it's heaven. It's filled with sweets and chocolates. Inside he sees his little boy. The little boy is
actually with the girl. Playing with her. Not harmed or endangered by her. The father, so scared,
goes to his little boy, hugging him. The little boy was unsure but a bit scared that his father would get mad at him but the father didn't care, all he wanted was to see his little boy. What makes him even more happy is that there's a lot of food. The woman invited him to join the fun. Join the party and he happily obliges. So he goes with them, eating the food, playing with them and they would all remained happy for the rest of their lives. The End." The story was over and she turns her attention to Jessica only to see her asleep.

She leaves the the bed and puts the blanket cover all over her before giving her a kiss goodnight on the forehead, wishing her sweet dreams before leaving the room.

She goes downstairs to see her husband drying the dishes after having washed them. He can hear her footsteps so he focuses his attention on her. Smiling.

"Did she fall asleep through one of your stories?"

"Oh don't even get me started. That girl is... hard work." He laughs at her, goes and cuddles her before they both give each other a kiss on the lips.

"Oh baby but she's the reason why we're still together. Without her, we would have remained alone in our usual ordinary laughs."

"You can say that again." In a sarcastic remark.

He grabs something next to him, a DVD player of a movie called Before Sunrise. It was the first movie they watched on their first date after eating out in a fast food restaurant. They loved the movie so much they would tend to watch the movie over and over again, usually when Jessica's asleep.

"Aww that's my favourite movie baby."

"I know. Let's watch it again. I know you want to watch it." She gives him a long grin, something he would expect from her to show that she's willing to watch it.

"Yeah. Let's do it."

They go to the living room, open the power, inserts the disk through their DVD player and then the film's main menu is open.
