EPILOGUE
It was bright. Nadine could barely open her eyes. It stings. But the sensation is familiar. The whole white place is familiar.
Ah. Ito yung lugar na napapanaginipan ko palage.
Ang puti at maliwanag na lugar na kailanman hindi niya naintindihan. It's as if the whole place was a huge metaphor for the things she didn't know about the world. It was, indeed. It has the purest white, almost holy. It seemed untouched. The place was innocent.
Naramadaman niyang may kung anong init ang bumalot sa kamay niya.
We still have a lot to see.
A familiar voice said beside her. Nilingon niya ang may hawak sa kamay niya.
Claire.
Nakatayo si Claire sa tabi niya at hawak-hawak ang kamay niya. Hindi makapaniwala si Nadine, bakit hindi niya naisip na si Claire yung babae sa panaginip niya all this time?
But in this white dream, it's different. She wasn't chasing Claire anymore. She wasn't reaching for her. She wasn't running towards her unreachable silhouette. She's standing beside her; holding her hand; smiling at her.
It's just the beginning. She whispered softly.
