# Pushing forward too rashly (6)

Choi Han was so frustrated that he was almost going crazy.

While the siblings were engaged in conversation, another trio of siblings, the kids averaging ten-years-old communicated with each other with looks and then approached Cale. 

Gaining the redhead's attention, Raon placed a paw on Cale's thigh. "Human, just like you stayed with the great and mighty me when we took revenge on Venion, I will stay with you too. Just trust me!"

Hong joined his younger brother. "Cale-nya has helped us so many times. He also protected us from the Cat tribe. We want to help you too, nya!"

"We want to watch, nya."

On's somber words reminded Cale of how On and Hong had forced themselves to watch Venion getting tortured so they could share Raon's pain. Just like Cale had stayed there by Raon's side because he was the adult taking care of these kids, these cats had stuck by their youngest sibling too.

But the thing about caring about someone is, it returns to you in some form at some point.

So now Cale was experiencing others caring for him so blatantly that he couldn't hide behind his obliviousness.

Cale wanted to say these things but his lips wouldn't move.

These kids had seen and experienced the worst, from torture to war, they had seen everything. They were strong enough to see Cale's past and stand by his side through it. Although they shouldn't have to worry about it, like Lily said, a good family worried about each other. It was only natural then that they wanted to know about Cale.
