J.J: I'm probably gonna get a butt whooping tonight but I don't care it was totally worth it

Hannah: make sure you tell your dad the truth of why you hit him

J.J: I did

Hannah: maybe it you apologize to your ex

J.J: but I didn't do anything

Hannah: hitting people is wrong your dad is probably upset with you because you punched your ex in the face

J.J: i also hit daddy

Hannah: now that was wrong I would've beaten your butt too

J.J: I love my dad but sometimes I had a different mommy

Hannah: J.J are you sad your mommy is gone

J.J: sometimes I have nightmares about we getting shot

Hannah: I want you to let your daddy know okay we have five more minutes left

J.J: I want my learners permit

Hannah: aren't you too young for that

J.J: no my daddy says if I bring home good grades I can get my learners permit

Hannah: okay so tell me how's school

J.J: I hate Ms. Smith

Hannah: who's that

J.J: my stupid English teacher

Hannah: what happened and come and sit

J.J: okay and she told my daddy I was disrespectful and now I can't go outside after school

Hannah: oh I see

J.J: my daddy was pretty mad at me but I didn't care I don't like that stupid teacher

Hannah: okay let's change the subject how's your brother your father was telling me that you and your brother don't get along

J.J: daddy shouldn't have told you that and no but he's very protective over me

Hannah: it's called being a jackass I have one of those too

J.J: my daddy will pop me if I say that word

Hannah: okay well that's our time I wanna see you twice a week

J.J: Friday

J.J: yes

Hannah: I need to speak to your dad is he here

J.J runs to the waiting area and sees his dad listening to music

In the waiting room*

J.J: daddy hello

James: hey bug

Hannah: hi you mind if we talk in my office

James: sure what about J.J

Hannah: he can go in the playroom

James: okay

J.J and James follows Hannah

Hannah: okay J.J you can play with any toys you like

J.J: daddy

James: knock yourself out but when I say let's go you will put all the toys back and let's go got it

J.J: yes daddy

Hannah: okay come on his way Mr. Scott

In Hannah's office*

Hannah: okay so you know I can't discuss what we talk about

James: yes I know

Hannah: but I am concern

James: about what

Hannah: his school it seems like he's not being treated fairly because he's gay

James: yeah I got that too

Hannah: did you ever ask him about it

Hannah: Maybe you should

James: I will thank you for telling me

Hannah: and I gonna give him a prescription for his ADHD

James: thank you I knew his behavior was off for a reason

James: my dad can bring I have court all day Friday

James leaves the office and goes in the playroom where J.J was

James: that's so nice

James: put the toys back

Hannah: you really are lucky

James: what do you mean

Hannah: some kids Ike J.J don't make it pass 11 years old

James: I'm sorry I don't know what you mean

Hannah: I think you should get him tested

James: you sound like my dad

J.J: daddy I put all toys away

James: okay come on let's go say bye to Hannah
