Laughters and blessings filled every passway of the palace, each and every village in the kingdom was decorated as if it were Diwali,While Ratnagarh was busy preparing for the marriage of It's beloved princess Ragini

Pratapgarh was killing moments ,eagerly waiting for an answer from Ratnagarh confirming the marriage of prince Aaditya.
Many new marriage proposals were sent to Pratapgarh from all around the country as soon as the news of their prince getting married got out.
Princesses would drool over his charms and confident personality, his aura was powerful yet calming

Aaditya's pov-

Bhai-sa had called me saying he had some good news to share I hope It's something good
I wonder if It's a scroll from Ratnagarh but I dont think She would have agreed, but why do I care? There are tons of kingdoms to choose from. I freshen up and head towards the lounge near Bhai-sa's room, soon he entered with the biggest smile on his face and I wonder what made him that happy I decide to ask him.

"Pranam Bhai-sa, what happened you seem to be in a really good mood"
I bowed to him in respect

"Khush raho , badhai ho aaditya unki taraf se haa hai ab hume jald se jald vivah ki tayariyan shuru karni hogi"
Be happy,Congratulations Aaditya they have said yes now We'll have to start the preparations for your marriage as soon as possible

I nod and just simply look at him while he tells me how happy he is by this alliance being formed and how lucky I am to get married to such a 'sincere' girl who knows how well mannered she is
I ask him if I could help in getting the preparations done sooner but rather than saying yes he scolded me saying I should 'rest' as I am the groom and I need to look handsome and not tired, so he also handed most of the work to other ministers until I get married and now I can't even look into finances as 'I'll get tired' . being left with no other option rather than accept his decision I head back to my room look into the confidential treasury stuff as it is still under my control.
3 days from now we have our mangni (engagement) and we have to go to Ratnagarh because my father in law had requested us to let them host it at their palace to which Bhai-sa agreed as only a few days are left for marriage and soon Ragini will leave their palace.

We stopped as we reach in front of the entrance of Ratnagarh's huge palace. We are welcome by her family warmly with great fanfare and grandeur but She's not here, yet. The air is filled with the majestic sound of trumpets playing joyful melodies. Elephants, adorned with vibrant and intricate decorations, gracefully march alongside the procession, symbolizing strength and prosperity. Ragini's family, dressed in exquisite traditional attire, greet us with open arms, showering us with flower petals and blessings, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere of celebration and unity. Their eyes are filled with anticipation and respect but one pair of eyes catch my attention, my future mother in law doesn't seem to like this much and from what I've heard Ragini is not that involved with everyone personally but she really cares for her father. It's not like I care about all this but I had to run a background check on my soon to be wife and I got to know a few details about her. My wife to be is an interesting person I must say.

As we head In side, everyone stare at the decorations in awe astonished how it looked so breathtaking and serene.
We all then go to our rooms and freshen up for the engagement as everyone was tired from the journey. Lunch was served to everyone in their rooms and after a while we all assembled for tea and snacks around 4:00. Every one gathered around Ragini as soon as she entered the place.
