Chapter 24

       Katie's Pov

Oh my god did that really just happen. I could still feel his soft pink lips against mine. Why does he make me feel this way. My heart pounds when I see him and my stomach erupts in butterflies. His crystal blue eyes make me get memorized in them. His height make me feel so short but then again I love his height. Am I in love with Luke Hemmings? "Miss are you okay" the taxi driver asked. "I'm fine just thinking" I said looking at him. "About that boy you were kissing" he said as I blushed. "Yes actually." I said. "Well you know I remember when I was your guys age. I was in love with this beautiful girl. She was my best friend and I knew I always wanted something more. But I was scared of rejection though. We kissed a couple of times but she said it meant nothing or she had a new boy the next day." He start. "That's awful" I said sadly. "Hey I'm not done" he laughed as i smiled. "So anyways one day I came over to surprise her and she was in her room crying her heart out. And
that broke me, never ever do you want to hear or see someone you care about cry. You know" he said as I nodded. "So I grabbed my key and ran towards her holding her as she cried. I didn't even asked what was wrong. I just let her cry. Than she looked up at me after 20 minutes of crying and said 'why don't you love me'. And I said that I do. That she got frustrated. 'No not love as a friend I mean love me more than a friend. As a girlfriend' she yelled out. I was so shocked and she started hitting my chest crying. And it was kinda funny since she is way shorter than me. Than I grabbed her face and kissed her. Which obviously kissed back. Than I explained my love for her. We dated for a year before we got married and now have our own kids. I'm happy to say that we had 13 year of successful marriage." He finished as I smiled.

    "That's a great story." I said as he smiled. "It is isn't it. Well you know why I told that story" he said as I tilted my head. "Because you think that me and Luke are going to be that way." I said. "Oh I was going to say because I love telling that story but but the thing with you guys too." He said as we laughed. "So why are you leaving." He asked. "I'm not the one that deals with drama and I guessed there was to much so I decided to go home." I said. "Makes sense. Well guess we are here. It was great meeting you." The man said. "As you tell you're wife that she has an amazing husband." I said grabbing my money . "No need to pay me. Talking to you made my day. And please don't let a boy like that leave" he said as I nodded grabbing my stuff. "Thank you" I said waving walking up to the door.  "Hmm I have the whole house to my self. What to do." I said a loud. Suddenly my phone rang. I answered it sighing. "Hello" I said taking a seat on the couch. "Hey Katie it's Luke and Michael and you are on speaker." Luke said. "Hey guys " I smiled. "What are you doing" mikey asked. "You know just sitting. I actually just got to the house when you guys called." I said standing up heading into Louis room. "Did you have a safe trip?" Luke asked as I started changing. "Yes I did. I talked to the taxi guy he told me a story than I was home." I said changing into pjs than threw my hair up. "Well that's good.  What do you plan on doing?" Mikey said. "I was actually thinking about making a YouTube video about me cooking and telling my supports the good news. You guy can facetime me and watch if you want" I said putting on my bunny slippers and heading into the kitchen with my phone. Than they hung up.  Ok than. I went into the fridge and grabbed some ingredients which included chicken,tortillas, spinach, bell pepper, olive oil, and ect. Than I turned on my camera when my phone rang again but this time for facetime. And of course it was Luke and Mikey. "Hey" I waved setting them in a place I can see them and they can see me. "Did you start yet?" They asked "nope you caught me right in time." I smiled as I press record. "Hey guys it's Katie here with another YouTube video. This video will have no edits besides sound. And today instead of singing I was really in the mood to cook. So I have my best friend Michael and my penguin Luke on facetime watching as well. Say hi guys" I said pointing the phone to the camera. "Hey everyone " they said waving. "Anyways I will be cooking with no directions because I'm a thug like that" I said as mikey and Luke laughed. "Hmm ignore them they are just losers." I laughed. "So first thing I have to do is turn on the stove, and if you guys want to cook this too just listen to my amazing directions." I smiled grabbing a skillet. " So put the stove on medium heat and grab a medium or large skillet. And we are going to let that heat up as I start chopping some veg-" I started as I heard a noise. "What was that" I said turning around and notice it was nothing.

    "Okay so like I was saying you are going to chop your veggies. So you'll need 1 cup chopped onions, 1/2 cup chopped celery and a handful of chopped red and green bell peppers. Once you do that grabbed your chicken brest and take out all the fat than cut slits in them so they can get all the favor. Once you finish that you grab the olive oil and pout some on. Thanks you put in your veggies and letting them cook a little than put on your chicken." I said as I looked at the phone noticing the boys don't look like they are in the cabin. "Where are you boys?" I asked as there eyes widen. "What are you talking about we are in the cabin." Luke said. "Sure you guys are. " I said smiling. "Okay anyways guys we let the chicken cook 5 minutes on each side. Than once that's done you take your chicken out and leave in the veggies putting the heat on low with a cap. Than you take the chicken and slice it into thin pieces. Once you do you can now take out the veggies and grab the spinach. Well put in the spinach and chicken let it get and add salt pepper paprika Umm canye pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. After that we are almost done." I said season now my veggies with salt and pepper. I grab the tortillas and made at least three. "So basically you can put whatever you want on your taco. But for me I decided to start with spinach than my chicken a little veggies some sour cream cheese and some mild sauce. Than I made two more because I know my best friend and my penguin are here and want to eat to" I smirked turning around and surely they were there and shocked as well. "How did you" mikey started but I cut him off. "I got my ways now say hi to everyone and eat. You guys are the judges." I smiled giving them a plate with there tacos. "Hey guys I'm Michael clifford and I'm Katie's best friend." Mikey said taking a bite and his eyes widen. "And I say this Taco broke my scale." He smiled giving a thumbs up. "Hey guys I'm Luke Hemmings and I'm Katie's penguin and this Taco is amazing" Luke said eating his. "Thank you guys now that's all for today's video . Oh wait I knew I forgot something. As you know I love singing and my friends here are in 5 seconds of summer. I gave in an audition  and we are touring together. So if you guys want to come to the shows I will have all the information for you guys real soon. Anyways bye my lovely supporters and I'll see you guys really soon." I six turning off the camera and posting it. "So what you guys doing here?" I asked eating my taco. "Well we didn't want you to be alone. Plus I'm your best friend I had to make sure you were okay." Mikey said as I smiled. "Well thank you guys. I probably would have died from boredom if I was left alone any longer. " I said giving mikey a hug and Luke a short one. "Well Katie I actually need to talk to you" Luke said as I nodded my head. "Okay so I know the whole kiss thing is making you think cause I sure as hell can't stop thinking about it. Trust me I don't regret it but I want to know if you need the time to think about everything I will let you." He said as I half smiled. "I will definitely think about it but til I do we will still be friends. I promise" I said as he held me close. Than I felt another body around us. "Yay group hug" mikey said as I giggled. "Well guys let's watch some movies." I said smiling happy having my two favorite guys here.

    Hey guys sorry for such the long wait and for it being a short chapter but I finally got some inspiration. And I knew I had to finish a chapter before school started. So that's what I did. I hope you guys do like this chapter even though it's really crappy. I promise the chapters will get better. I love you guys. You guys are my rock and I'm so happy to have supporters like you guys.
