Perfectly?

"Next and last task will be on thursday."

Were the words I heard before we got out of the headquarters.

I caught sight of the wall-clock and it was as of now almost 6pm. But I rejected the thought that it might've already closed and just hurriedly opened the tall doors of the large hall.

I walked towards the History section, having no plans wasting my time when I saw a familiar face leaning on a random bookshelves. He was silently sitting on the floor, writing down something on his familiar book.
Grabe, hindi ba sya napagod? Kakatapos lang ng second task namin ah? Not to mention the hundred item logic test that seem to consume every bit strength of my braincells?

"I'm starting to get chills with your stares, Reina."

His words pulled me out of my thoughts. I huffed in my mind when I finally realized what he said. But to left him ashamed or atleast bashed, I pretended as if I haven't heard anything and roamed my eyes like I was looking for something.

"What an old jest I couldn't laugh about." he turned his head towards me. "You're attracted to me?"

Nalaglag ang panga ko sa sinabi niya. W-w-what the?

He closed his book and stood to step closer to me. "Am I righ–"

I interjected. Umiling iling pa ako, hindi makapaniwala. "Yan pala yung sinasabi nilang mas kinakatakutan ng masa? Eh natatawa lang ako sa'yo e."

He titled his head. I wasn't really sure if he was offended or what. But he let out a sigh, as if he could blow me away of it. "I never thought I made someone that happy."

"You're very wrong." I stated, sarcastically smiling. "But don't you think you're vaunting yourself too much? huh, Mr. vice president? A bit nasty for me to call you that because we just had no other choice lang naman noong panahong yun. I rolled my eyes and turned around, leaving before I could do something I'd later regret.

"You're really obsessed with me."

That guy! Ugh! Nakakasuka. Ang taas ng tingin sa sarili. Gwapong-gwapo! Ew!

I almost ripped the paper where the needed books titles was written in heating emotion.

"Need me?"

I felt all of the blood on my body raised to my head as I turned slowly to him. But he remained crossed-arms there, leaning on the shelves calmly like he was my friend and he was waiting for me.

"Ikaw, tigilan mo ko ah." I gushed. "Kunting kunti nalang talaga..."

I sounded like I was near commiting a crime while there he was, looking more amused on my threat rather than being scared.

Heck, Reina. You actually did expect that he'd waver and fold in fear of you?

This is Chilo, again.

The talk of danger for everyone.
