"Athy! Stop that!" I screamed. Not knowing that there were two people standing behind us.
"Athy!" I whispered, trying to pull her away from the statue. But she didn't give in. I exhaled.
"What are these flithy bugs doing in my palace?" asked an iron voice. Athy and I jumped in shock. We both turned anxiously to the voice.
"S*it!" we both thought at the same time.

Athy and I trembled. We knew exactly who this person in front of us was. Those cold blue jewel eyes could only be seen everywhere. The Emperor looked us up and down. clunk.
"Athy!" I yelled. But she didn't react. She was no longer caught in her trembling, but in a state of shock.The Emperor and the red-haired knight behind him followed the sound and noticed one of Athy's sacks lying on the floor. The jewels in it spread all over the floor. The red-haired knight looked at the jewels, confused and ignorant. Apparently he didn't know what to do.
However, he wasn't the only one.
"That face. I've seen it before." Those words pulled Athy and I out of our thoughts. We started shaking even more. He looked down at both of us icily with those jeweled eyes. The same eyes Athy had.
"Why?" said Athy.
"Yes, was it that dancer from Siodonna?"
mom?
"You guys look like those wench."
"What is this guy doing here? We are only 5, Rubi is alive and this is not the emperor's garden either."
"...Athy," was all I could say until Claude moved again and held out his hands to us. "Then again, it doesn't matter where she came from."
Claude grabbed Athy and my chin with his hands and lifted it up. Now we looked straight into his cold eyes. "Your Majesty!" the redhead began.
"Ah, I think I remember what that wench called you both."
He looked at Athy. "I believe your name was Athanasia." Athy stood stock still. The emperor now turned his gaze to me.
"And your name should be Rubia."

"Back then the two of you were just tiny bugs that couldn't even lift its heads. You two grown a lot."
Claude bent down to us.
"Grown alot? Does that mean, he will kill us now?" Athy asked anxiously.
"Try to stay calm Athy!"
"Quiet. The guy who's supposed to kill us? Are you crazy!"
After that I said nothing more.But I wondered why this scene looked so familiar to me. Also, the monologue Claude had just said was oddly familiar.
