Stan POV:
Kyle and I are playing video games in my room since he decided to stay the night. As he usually does.

"Fuck! Stan, what the hell?!"
I killed Kyle once again

"What? I'm just good dude"
He scowls at me
"Good at pissing me off?"

I just shrug and smirk
"That's just one of my many talents Kyle"

After a while we decide to get ready for bed
"Stan I'm gonna take a shower."
"K dude, I'll be waiting in here"

I just lay in bed and scroll through my phone, looking at random shit to pass the time.
Kyle opens the door, wearing sweatpants and a white T-shirt

"Done"
He walks over and hops into bed with me
We just sleep together because we've known each other for so long, I mean. There's nothing weird about it,.. Right?

"Whatcha doin'?"
He leans over to see my phone screen
"Not much, just watching YouTube I guess"
A slight blush brushes over my face

He's extremely close to me right now. I never used to feel like this around him until I ended things with Wendy once and for all

Flashbaaack

"Stan! You can't keep ditching me for your dumbass fag friend!"

".... What the fuck did you call him?"

Kyle is standing right behind me as I ''talk" to Wendy

"Basically I said he's a worthless bitch trying to steal my boyfriend! It's either me or him Stan! So pick."

"I'm not your fucking boyfriend anymore. Get out of my face!"

I grab Kyle's hand and drag him away from the situation, pissed off that she would call my best friend those things

End of flashback

I still hate her for that day, haven't talked to her since. But I think I might be gay for my best friend
I'm not afraid to admit it to myself, talking to him about it though is out of my bounds

Although I want him to know how I really feel

I turn my phone off and sit up, Kyle following my movement sitting up next to me

"Something wrong Stan?"
He notices the frown on my face

"Kyle. You wouldn't hate me no matter what I say, right?"

"Well there aren't many awful things you would say to me to make that happen so I guess I wouldn't."

I pause and look him in his beautiful emerald eyes

"Not even if I said I was gay?"

"I don't mind you bei-"

"For you."

He stops and stares at me blankly

"Y-your..you like me? Like, have a... Crush on me?"

I nod in shame, bracing myself for rejection
Instead though, I feel soft hands interlocking fingers with mine

I look up to see Kyle smiling softly at me.
"I like you too Stan. I was so miserable when you talked about Wendy all the time, I think I even liked you more when you ditched her for me. It just kinda made me feel special in a way."

I smile back

"So. Does this make us..."
"Super best boyfriends?"
"Yeah."
"I guess it does"
He leans in slowly and we just sit there taking in the moment before I close the gap and connect our lips in a soft, passionate kiss

After a good 2 minutes, we pull apart to catch our breath

My hand goes to cup his face and my other rests on his thigh
Both his arms are wrapped around my neck

One of my hands slowly trails down his body and slides around his waist, pulling him closer.
I push him down onto the mattress, with me on top of him

We interlock our lips again and I place both of my hands on the bed either side of him

We continue to make out until we break apart once more and I rest my body on his.

"Kyle.."
"Yeah Stan?"
He runs his fingers through my jet black hair in a calming way

"I love you"
He giggles lightly
"I love you too Stan"

We lay there a bit longer before we both drift off into a sweet slumber while I still try to process what just happened
The fact that I can now brag to people at school tomorrow that this pretty red headed boy

Is someone who I can finally call mine.
