The cold night air frosted its chill through the abandoned village of Hann. An Uruk, a species of ancient elf/orc after leaving its prey came swiftly down the path of the road. Its huge voice roared in the distance. As its huge feet stepped on the ground it shook. It stared at her and her friend. It saw them as they were near the dead bodies and growled deeply. The wolf warrior yelled, "Don't get near it!" He immediately pulled a bow and arrow and started firing.

That in itself angered the burly creature even more and it charged toward them. The Uruk merely swatted the incoming arrows away. As the Uruk was charging Liv noticed it had something in its closed fist. Olivia stared at the creature in awe. She had never been this close an Uruk. It shocked her. She didn't realize the famed Uruks were that large. She felt her legs tighten. Her heartbeat started to quicken. Liv wanted to move but she couldn't. But then she tried her hardest to focus. She closed her eyes. She used her abilities to feel the air around her. His aura was colored red all around him. Which meant anger. But she delved further into the Uruk's mind.

She had never delved this far into someone's mind. It was a bit much and then she was taken off-guard. Liv heard the wolf warrior's cry but it felt distant to her. There was a swift wind with the force of the Uruk's blow. It knocked her back into the hard brick surfaces of the house. The windows cracked from the devastating force. When she got back up she felt if anything was broken on her person and it felt everything was in place. Amazingly, she felt strong. She licked her lips, but they were dry. She didn't have anything to drink. She wanted to grab something to drink but she couldn't think about that right now. All Olivia could think about was the pain. She could feel it around her when she got back up. Liv could hear the Uruk scream in a war chant at her. She could hear it deep with her consciousness. The wolf warriors were gathered around the beast firing their sharp prehensile fire arrows but they were doing nothing but angering him.

The Uruk threw one of the warriors away into a motor vehicle that had been parked in the street. Several more came at him with their swords. They struck him in the midsection and the shoulder area. He grabbed the first one by the waist and shook him. It squeezed the warrior thereby crushing the svelte soldier. He then he tossed him way like a paper doll. The orc bellowed out in frustration. You could hear the cry several paces away. Her friend watched the orc lumber past him and past the windows that some of the citizens were looking out of.

The rest of the warriors knew that in order to fell this beast they had to confine it to small quarters. And that would limit their choices. There weren't many closed areas in the city. But they couldn't do it on their own. Her friend, Tim ran over to Liv's side and fumbled with his daggers. He shot several of them at the long arms of the orc. One blade slashed at its hand. Tim could see blood spew from the orc. The Orc lifted his hand and screamed. The orc then directed her rage at him. She stamped her feet. She then went over to the main road and saw the orc had lifted a car. Liv saw what she was trying to do. Liv was too far from Tim and the half orc to physically stop her.

The orc in fit of mad rage threw the vehicle forward to him. The vehicle flew on the cold winds of the atmosphere. Tim in a sudden movement to not be a flattened pancake, ran and ducked down towards a closed shop. The vehicle crashed on an local eatery's window, smashing the front. "Tim stay down! He can't see you!" yelled Liv. One of the wolf warriors, lead in to them, ran in and started and jumped around the Uruk. She hid amongst the lone vehicles on the road. She quickly and steadily ran to some hiding points near the Uruk.

The roof of the shop had frosted over with snow. Liv noticed the orc ripping street stands in the way and grabbing what it could. Liv quietly ran behind the Uruk sifting and shaking things down. It seemed he was searching for something. The Uruk roared louder than anything she had ever heard. He turned to the left and saw the boy. The boy got up and knew what he had to do. "I have stop it." He thought if he took a stand against the creature, he would earn a high enough standing in the community. And a bonus from the King. "I'm going in, Liv! I have to. Watch my back." Olivia thought it was a mistake for him to do that. He had no experience in battle with the Uruks. But she had to respect his courage.
