"A little yeah, considering you're willing to get involved with a fairly powerful familia to help her out,"

"Yeah, I suppose you could look at it that way. I did technically frame it that way didn't I?" she said, poking her chin curiously as if recalling how the conversation went.

"Frame it that way?" I asked curiously. "So that wasn't true?"

"It was true...only half true though." she clarified. "I really do want to help Hestia out, but more than that I REALLY want to annoy that weird pervert Apollo even more," she said. "He gives us sun deities a bad reputation." she huffed, crossing her arms.

"...w-what is he like?" I was uncertain whether I even wanted to know.

She frowned as she considered her response. "Look Rimuru all you need to know is that he is a pervert who you need to stay away from. I dread what he'd try to do if he got his hands on you," she said. Looking at me in genuine concern.

I felt a chill run down my spine at the thought. Just what kind of god...

But before I could finish the thought the front door opened and out came Sophia along with Bell, Hestia, and the rest of their allies.

"Welcome," Sophia said dispassionately.

"Hestia!" Amaterasu waved a hello.

"Amaterasu?" The small black-haired goddess responded with a hint of confusion in her voice.

"Come in, come in," Amaterasu ushered the group in as she walked over to the walls and closed the curtains to make sure no one could look inside.

"What are you-" Hestia began to ask but before she could finish Amaterasu continued.

"I can't hide you guys forever, but you guys should at least have enough time to talk a few things out and plan ahead." she continued.

"Wait wait wait wait wait. I appreciate the help, but what the hell are you talking about? Your child said something about you repaying a favor but I don't remember doing anything for you. Hell, I don't think I've even met you!" Hestia said.

"Hmm? Oh yeah, I guess I should clarify huh?" Amaterasu said in a carefree tone. "Well you're correct in saying we've never met before, but I do in fact owe you a huge debt of gratitude," she said. "After all, you're the one who turned that disgusting pervert's attention away from me!"

The room went silent.

"...Huh?!" then suddenly Hestia grunted in confusion and what seemed to be a bit of annoyance as well.

"Hmm? What? Was I not clear? Apollo, that pervert god, you drew his attention away from me." she clarified once again.

Hestia pointed at Amaterasu accusingly for a moment as her mouth hung open trying to string words together but failing. "Y-you..." she stuttered through her words "You're the one who introduced him to me?!" She asked incredulously.

"..." Amaterasu paused for a moment and opened her mouth but this time it was her turn to stay silent.

After a moment of deliberating over her words she let out a soft, "maybe..."

(Hestia POV)

I stared at the golden haired goddess who was looking away from me, a guilty expression that seemed to say looks like I got caught, on her face.

My mouth opened and closed as I tried to form a response to her admission. Apollo had been a thorn in my side for a while now, constantly vying for my attention and now I found myself in front of the one responsible for this entire situation.
