Fourth year was a whirlwind of fun and adventures for Grace Snape. That is until Lord Voldemort claimed the first innocent life in the Wizarding War: Her ex-boyfriend, Cedric Diggory. As she realizes the seriousness of the state of the world, she knows what she wants her part to be. She wants to fight on the front lines. But she doesn't seem to understand why her father is so against it.
After choosing to cut Draco out of her life, Grace is having a hard time deciding how to navigate her social circle until the sorting hat changes her entire setting, and she becomes especially close with Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and the one and only Harry Potter.
Dating Harry Potter is the perfect opportunity for Grace to get over Draco and fight on the front lines of the Wizarding War, but unbeknownst to her, it's incredibly dangerous. As she learns more about her father's involvement, she slowly realizes that maybe she doesn't want to be on the front lines. And maybe she doesn't actually want to be with Harry.
With Draco in the back of her mind as she continues to watch her boyfriend fight Voldemort, she's not sure what exactly she wants. Remembering all the good times from fourth year when things get tough causes her to realize that she has screwed up brutally. And obligation to her boyfriend is causing her pain when she comes to terms with who she really wants. Meanwhile, Professor Umbridge has taken over the school. And also, where did her dad go?
