I felt sereya's hand brush through my hair "will you be going out with your sisters today?" Her voice of filled with curiosity "yes I already promised mother and she's busy as usual besides there really not horrors not for me" sereya hummed in response putting two braids

"All done" sereya pulled out a mirror and smiled showing me my hair it was lovely "thanks you always do it the best" i smiled warmly at her

When I stepped outside of my room I heard it the running it was Daena "alysa!!!" My three year old sister came hasty towards me i crouched down waiting

She came slamming into me she wrapped her little arms  around me "you'll have to be careful one day you're going to run into the wrong thing" I remind her "alysanne!" I could hear my mother voice out of breath "oh thank god there Daena" we both giggled at that "it's fine you shouldn't worry so much" she sighs and I take Rhaella out of her hands and put her on my hip "you go to your meeting don't worry I've got all sorted" she nodded "I can't thank you enough" she faced all of us "I love all you mummy's got to go but your sister got you" she smiled however Daena seemed like she didn't care like at all in fact she was smiling and pulling my dress Rhaella did look around confused but fell asleep I swear she loves sleep

When we stepped foot into the library it became so quiet probably not the best choice bring a loud three year old Daena was holding my hand now I would've carried her if Rhaella wasn't already on my hip "can we read the ones with the knights!!" She was loud as usual I smiled "Daena we use our indoor voices here okay and yes we can read the knight one you love" with that she swiftly drags me away

While we looked through Rhaella opened her eyes she seemed to be reading the titles or just staring at them I felt a tug at the dress "this one!" Daena excitement was contagious "yes let go" we all walked out once again and sat on a bench with three covering it

As we perused the book I told them stories of old with tales of our ancestors the old dragons Rhaella would clap her hands anytime visenya was mentioned which me and Daena found very amusing when dragons were mentioned Daena would mimic their roar which Rhaella loved she would giggle every time soon Daena's stomach rumbled

"Let's go get food" I smiled and I lead them back inside I asked a cook for anything to eat and he gave me an apple i handed it to Daena she ate it suspiciously fast I watched daena bounce around her sliver curls bouncing with her I smiled at sight

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the courtyard, I gathered my little sisters and gently ushered them back towards the castle. Daena's energy had waned, and Rhaella was now starting to stir from her nap. Cradling Rhaella in my arms, I held Daena's hand and we strolled back to our chambers.

The halls of the castle were now bathed in the soft light of dusk, and the flickering torches added a cozy ambiance to the surroundings. As we walked, Daena started telling me about the adventures of the knights we had just read about, her imagination painting vivid scenes of daring battles and heroic deeds. Rhaella, on the other hand, babbled in her own baby language, seemingly excited to share her own version of the story.

Once we reached our chambers, I settled Rhaella back into her crib, ensuring she was comfortable and snug. Daena plopped onto the bed, her energy finally spent from the day's escapades. Sitting down beside her, I gently brushed her hair away from her face.

"Did you have fun today, little dragon?" I asked, using the playful nickname I had given her.

Daena nodded enthusiastically, her bright purple eyes sparkling. "Yes, Alysa! Dragons and knights and roars!"

I laughed softly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Well, tomorrow we can have more adventures, but now it's time for bed. You need your sleep, so you can dream of dragons and knights."

Daena's eyes drooped slightly, and she yawned. "Okay, Alysa."

After helping her change into her nightclothes and settling her under the covers, I turned to leave the room. But before I could, Daena's voice stopped me.

"Alysa?" she said, her voice small.

I turned back to look at her. "Yes, Daena?"

"Will you tell me another story tomorrow? About the dragons?"

I smiled and leaned down to press a kiss on her forehead. "Of course, little dragon. Tomorrow we'll have even more stories and adventures."

With a satisfied smile, Daena closed her eyes, and I left the room, softly closing the door behind me. As I walked down the corridor, I heard me mothers voice "did they behave for you?" she laughed "they only don't behave when your around"I giggled back "walk with me"

We strolled down the corridor "they idolised you" "I doubt that" I laughed my mother turn to me smiling "no really they do so do i" I felt her hand go towards the opening in my dress and she plopped a piece of paper there with a smile I knew what it meant without any words said "it's late I should head back" I smiled as my mother agreed
