Rhaenyra was struggling she had only just dressed herself when her daughter had been throwing her clothes around and playing with the maid's half-dressed normally she would find it cute but currently she did not
"Alysanne come here now!"
The girl stopped and came over to her mother the maids sighed and walked out and she started dressing her daughter in a red tunic and black pants "How's it going with Alysanne" Daemon stood leaning on the door "She started throwing her clothes everywhere and annoying the maids while I was getting ready" he giggled and sat next to his wife "my brothers is here and he brought his children and the alicent I'll wait for you and alysanne"

The queen and her oldest left for their rooms but Viserys and his other two stayed sitting on chairs as the brothers chatted

The doors opened and Rhaenyra came out in a red dress holding her baby "Hello Father" she handed Alysanne to Daemon and sat down next to him "My daughter it's been so long how are you?" "It's been good Alysanne had been great so I've been able to work around things "

An hour had passed and Alicent and Aegon came back they all sat at the table watching the food come out her father couldn't keep his eyes off Alysanne "So Helena are you happy with you're betrothal?"

"I believe I was asking my sister not you" Rhaenyra tried to be civil with Alicent so everything doesn't blow up but the woman was out for blood constantly she wanted to feed her to Syrax "You don't have to answer for them they are their own people"

"I don't want their words taken wrong" Alicent glared at her tightening her grip on her cup "Besides if they do something you don't agree with they may lose an eye"

"Alicent! That's enough" The whole room stopped their chatter Rhaenyra knew her father was a weak man so she was surprised he yelled at Alicent or spoke at all "Alicent there are children present be civil"

Alicent looked taken back a leaned back into her seat swishing her wine

"Am sorry I couldn't be there for Alysanne's first name day" Viserys finally broke eye contact with the baby and started with his daughter "It's no problem you were busy nobody could help that" Rhaenyra smiled at her father and chairs moved could be heard alicent still throwing her temper tantrum got up and left taking her wine with her rhaenyra looked at her siblings ageon was already into his cups Helena starred at her drink zoning out and aemond was a mix of looking at everyone

"I am sorry for what happened to you're eye Aemond" she wasn't lying if she only knew that one of her supporters would take his eye rhaenyra knew it wasn't her fault Otto Hightower had many enemies since he was hand of king and a man who cared for only himself
The boy didn't respond and Viserys had already noticed he was staring at Alysanne and she was as well "she seems to like you Aemond" Rhaenyra looked at daemon and Alysanne was reaching out of her fathers grasp viserys was laughing "I believe she wants to held by you"

Daemons mind went blank for a second his daughter and nephew? Rhaenyra seemed to know what he was thinking and gave in a jap in the arm at his brothers wishes he puts Alysanne down and she crawls over to her uncle sitting only a few feet away from him he seemed interested in the child which was strange he seemed to like nobody but his mother and sister

Alysanne was giggling While playing with Aemonds necklace however daemon was glaring daggers at his nephew but it seem to not faze him his siblings and father had retired to their chambers Rhaenyra was hopelessly trying to make conversation with daemon with he sensed only interested in watching his daughter

"Calm down hes not going to do anything "

"So?"

"He's eleven he's not thinking what you believe he is"

Daemon still didn't like that his daughter enjoyed being with her uncle it reminds him of him and Rhaenyra and he knew how that ended he remembered their family love turning into romantic he wasn't going to let it happen to his daughter

"Am going to head to bed I'll take Alysanne to bed as well" Rhaenyra took her baby and left

Sorry for all the reposts I keep writing when am half asleep and I come back to correct them later so yeah considering Rhaenyra's children in the show don't happen I made one of Rhaenyras supporters take his eye out of revenge but I'll go into later
