Battle 16: The Smell of Victory

Finally, our heroes have arrived at Celadon City. And Niko is prepared to challenge the Gym Leader and win his fourth badge. Though, he didn't seem to excited.

Niko: Hmm. Niko sighed as he walked into the city.

Duplica: Hey, Kota. What's up with Niko? He hasn't been himself lately.

Kota: Yeah. He's been like this since this morning.

Flashback

Earlier, our heroes were enjoying breakfast at the Pokémon Center. Everyone except Niko.

Kota: Where's Niko? He's gonna miss breakfast.

Duplica: I'll go get him. Duplica got up and went to look for him. She didn't have to look far. Huh? She spotted him by the phones.

Niko: Really!? Oh. Oh, I see. Okay. Thanks for telling me dad. He said hanging up. He let out a heavy sigh.

End of Flashback

Niko: Mmm.

Kota: So, that's what happened. Wonder what his dad told him.

Duplica: Not sure. But it definitely got him upset. Huh? Duplica looked ahead and noticed. Uh, Kota? Where did Niko go?

Kota: Huh? Kota looked to see Niko was gone. Ah! Where'd he go?

Niko was currently walking aimlessly until he stopped by a certain store.

Niko: Huh? It was a perfume shop.

Employee A: Oh hello! The shop girl said.

Niko: Wha?

Employee A: Right this way, sir. We're having a special. She said bringing Niko in.

He sat down on a chair and three sales-woman showed off their merchandise.

Employee A: This scent is one of popular ones. It's called Daffodil Dreams.

SPRIZZ

Niko: Wait, hold on! I'm not here for...sniff sniff...hey, that smells really nice.

Employee B: We're having a fragrance sale.

Elsewhere...

Levi: Come on you three! He ordered. Team Rocket follow close behind.

James: I hate to say this, but can we take a break? We haven't stopped walking for the past hour, I'm utterly winded.

Jessie: All this walking has taken the wind out of my sails.

Meowth: All this exercise really blows.

Levi: Cram it! He shouted at them. If we wanna catch some Pokémon, then we should obviously hit the Pokémon Center.

Jessie: Oh! That's a good point. Jessie agreed.

James: But how are we going to do that?

Levi: Simple. We cut the power to the Center. When that happens they can't call the authorities for help. That way, we can steal the Pokémon without any trouble. Levi explained.

Jessie: Simply brilliant!

James: Genius!

Meowth: Stupefying!

Levi: Now, get to work. Levi said.

Team Rocket: Huh?

Levi: I'm saying you three do it.

James: Pardon, but you're not going to assist?

Levi: I don't micromanage. Now get to it.

Team Rocket: Right! They saluted.
