*P.O.V SWITCH - KANA KIHARA*

QUASAR...

The group of goddesses which all the stars of the universe revolve around.

The greatest idol group in history, unmatched.

Every professional idol would dream of becoming a member of that group, blissfully unaware of the nightmare that waits for them...

When the project was first created by then-producer Seichi Kamijou, it has always been a unit composed of 21 members.

Three rows.

The back row who are considered background dancers, eight members.

The second row who are allowed to sing but only during choruses, eight members.

But all that truly matters in the eyes of the public, is the front row who are given their own solo parts to sing. Five members.

Each QUASAR is given a rank ranging from the bottom 21, to the center number 1.

However, they are not the only members of QUASAR... Because Golden Calf has a training program, in which the ranks of 22 to 100 are kept within.

Yes... In truth, QUASAR consists of 100 members, with only the top 21 being allowed to perform on the shining stage.

If you are in the top 21 and you lose your rank, you will be sent back to the training program, or forced to graduate completely.

'Graduate' is just a word that the executives use to make it sound like idols are moving on to bigger and better things, but in truth... It means an idol is fired.

I'm...no stranger to that concept.

When QUASAR was founded by Seichi Kamijou, it was centered by Hana Hazuki.
During that time, I was in the training program, it took me two years to make it into the top 21.

I was the only girl in the history of the training program to have been inducted straight into the main unit and ranked fourth highest, all at the young age of 17. This was a remarkable feat, and one that I will always be proud of. It wasn't just about the ranking, but the fact that I had proven myself to be a valuable asset on the team. It was a validation of my hard work and dedication, and it showed that I had what it took to succeed. My success was a testament to my determination, my focus, and my unwavering commitment to always giving my best.

I was one of the most popular trainees in my class; people just couldn't get enough of me. I had acquired more fans than even the second-row girls, and it was all thanks to my talent, my work ethic, and my winning personality. I had already built a strong following, and people were eagerly awaiting my debut as an official member. It was clear that I had what it takes to make it big, and I was destined to become a star.

Kamijou was devastated when he found out that Hana had been keeping a secret from him. She had been secretly dating his highest ranking official, and she had walked away without a word. It was a hurtful betrayal, and it left Kamijou feeling empty and betrayed.

Hazuki's departure left a void in the team, but I was determined to fill it. I worked diligently to take the center, a position known as the 'Empress,' and I succeeded. It was a feat that left people in awe, and it was a reminder of the power and potential that I possessed. I was proud to be recognized for my abilities and accomplishments, and I knew that I had earned my spot through hard work and dedication. It was a bittersweet accomplishment, but I was grateful for the opportunity to shine in spite of the challenges that had been thrown my way.

As the Empress of QUASAR, I made it my mission to differentiate from other idol groups by focusing on building meaningful relationships with my teammates and fans. I despised the competitive, backstabbing nature that was so common in the entertainment industry, and instead, I wanted to be a big sister to everyone. I was committed to creating a supportive and loving environment where everyone was welcome and appreciated for who they were. I wanted to be a role model and a source of strength for others, and I believed that my mission would keep us the best group in the industry.
