Nunew's POV.

I sat on the bench outside , zoning out. I look at my phone god knows how many time today. I sigh , looking at my lockscreen. I haven't seen Zee in almost a week. Ever since I was in the hospital , I have yet to see him. I tried calling him thousands of times , even leaving him over hundreds of messages but still nothing from him. The boys came over once in awhile but Zee wasn't there at all.

I soon felt a hand on my shoulder making me snap out of my thoughts. I turned my head slowly seeing Fae. She slowly sat down next to me as I slowly teared up.

"Nhu .." she said softly as I then look at her , breaking down in tears. She sigh , knowing exactly why I was crying. She brought me to her embrace , rubbing my back as I sobbed on her shoulder.

"Why hasn't Zee come yet ? .." I sobbed.

"He hasn't seen me ever since I went into the hospital ... why isn't he here now ? .." I cried.

"I miss him .. I miss him so much Fae ..." I sobbed as Fae nod , patting my head.

"Calm down na ... it's okay .. everything will be okay .." she said , rubbing my back comforting me.

I looked up to my white ceiling , not being able to sleep. I hugged my Zee pillow tightly with tears rolling down my cheeks. I turned onto my side , seeing Zee. He smile , looking at me as I reach my hand out and soon he disappeared. I soon realized it was all my imagination. I clutch my phone , closing my eyes letting the tears go.

- later -

I sigh , frowning , feeling a presence behind me. I felt someone's hot breath on the crook of my neck and a weight around my waist. I slowly turned around seeing Zee. He opened his eyes , looking directly at me. I breathe shakily as I look at him. I slowly reach out my hand , placing it on his cheeks. I sigh softly , hoping this isn't a dream.

"It's not a dream right .." I said softly as he held my hand that was against his cheek.

"You're real .. right ? .." I asked softly with tears rolling down my cheeks. He then pulled me to his embrace , kissing my forehead warmly.

"I am sorry if I took so long .. baby .." he said softly. God knows how much I missed hearing his voice. I hugged him tightly as he then cupped my cheeks , wiping my tears away.

"I miss you .. so much .." I whispered making him nod , caressing my cheek.

"I miss you even more .." he said as I then hugged him tightly.

"Please don't disappear on me again ... please .." I begged making him nod , kissing the top of my head.

"I won't ... I promise .. I am right here .." he said softly , running his fingers through my locks.

- morning -

I slowly open my eyes and soon sat up , looking to my side seeing no one. I breathe hard , hoping last night wasn't a dream. Soon the door opened revealing Zee with a tray of food in his hand. I look at him as he then smiled softly.

"You're awake already ?" He asked , placing the tray down on my table. My breath hitch as I then quickly got out of bed , rushing to his embrace making him stumble slightly. He chuckled , hugging me tightly.

"Bad dream ?" He asked as I shook my head.

"I was afraid .. I woke up not seeing you next to me .." I answered softly as he then slowly pulled away , cupping my cheeks.

"I told you .. I promise I'll be here am I right ?" He asked as I look at him.

"I don't understand .. where did you go for the past week ? Why didn't you reply to my texts or call me back ?" I asked , still having so many questions in my head. He smile softly , fixing my hair as he caress my bandage on my temple gently.

"Let's eat first and we'll talk after that okay ?" He said as I sigh , nodding. He lead me to the bed , bringing the tray of food with him. I sat down as he sat next to me.

"Fae cooked this porridge for you before she left for work .." he said , stirring the porridge.

"She said after eating, make sure to eat your medicine ..." he added , scooping the porridge onto the spoon.

"She even told me that you haven't been eating well for the past few days .. hm .. you should eat na .. you need to recover remember .." he said , blowing onto the spoon.

"If you want to get well , you have to eat baby .. or else you won't get better .." he said as tears rolled down my cheeks. He then brought the spoon to my mouth , looking at me.

"Let's eat na .." he said as I just look at him. He smiled softly , nodding. I slowly open my eyes , eating the porridge. He smile fondly , wiping my tears away.

"Delicious right ?" He asked as he scooped more porridge onto the spoon.

"Let's have at least 4 more bites .." he said as he fed me. My eyes wouldn't leave him at all.

After food , Zee made sure I ate my medicine. I laid my head on Zee's chest as he had his back against my headboard.

"Where did you go for the past week ?" I asked softly , ruining the quiet moment. I look up to him as he sigh , caressing my cheek.

"I had to do .. the right thing .." he said. He then slowly sat up slightly , grabbing something from my nightstand.

"Here .." he said , handing me a file making me frown , taking it out before looking at Zee.

"What's this ?" I asked softly , looking at it.

"This is all the pictures of the cctv that was at the basketball court that day .." he said making me look at the different pictures.

"While you were in the hospital , I was busy fighting for justice for you." He said as I look at him.

"I filed a lawsuit against Ton and his friends."he continued.

"I gather evidence from a few people who've Ton hurt before .." he said.

"And that includes .. your sister , Fae .." He said as I look down to all the documents and pictures.

"Ton may have gotten away the first time .. but I had to make sure that he will not get away this time." Said Zee as I breathed shakily.

"The reason I didn't see you is not because I was mad you .. I wanted to redeem myself.. and fixed things between us ... it's my fault for letting this happen .. and I'll make sure this won't ever happen to you ever again." He continued as he then caress my cheek. He then leaned kiss my forehead , leaning his forehead against mine,

"I need you to trust me .. okay ?" He asked as I look at him. I then nod , gulping my saliva.

"I trust you , Zee .." I whispered.
