2 weeks later

Friday

Lizzie's pov
Today is our last day of high school which is crazy to think about. Y/n was in Mexico last weekend for his race which he also won. My driver was amazing to watch and my whole family was cheering him on. Daniel is now fully recovered and he seems to be a totally different person. Don't get me wrong I still don't trust him but I appreciate that he is trying to convince us he's not going to try and ruin anything between me and his brother. Y/n and Chris went out earlier this week by their prom suits ready for next Friday for prom which I'm so exited for. Also yesterday I received an email from nyu saying my letter will be posted later on today telling me whether I got in or not. I was supposed to get it a couple of weeks ago but it got delayed as they had so many people apply this year which makes me slightly nervous knowing there is a lot of competition on getting into this university.

"Ready for our final day?" Y/n asks as he drives us to school. "Yeah I can't wait to leave and start a new chapter of our lives" I say making him smile. "Me too"

"You exited for your birthday on Wednesday?" I ask. I've arranged him a classic teenage party with a lot of our friends from school who are invited. We're hosting it at Chris's beach house which his parents agreed to. Y/n doesn't know about the plan so I'm going to have to find a way to get him there without him catching on. I don't know whether to bring Daniel along though because it will be his birthday too.I guess I'll have a talk with Layla and Ricky. "Very. you guys can no longer tease me about being 17 whilst you're all 18" he says making me giggle as we park in our usual spot for the final time.

"Well that's that" I say as we walk out of school hand in hand, the surrounding area filled with cheers and books being thrown about by the other seniors. Chris and scar are walking behind us as we make our way to the cars. "Meet at the diner up the road at 5 so we can open our nyu letters" scar says making us all nod before we go our separate ways. We head to mine so I can get my letter out of the mailbox then we make our way to the diner. After ordering some food it's time to open them. "I'm nervous. What if one of us doesn't get in?" I ask and y/n wraps his arm around my shoulders pulling me closer. "I'm sure you'll all be fine" he says making me nod. "Right let's do this" scar says and we all open them up. Y/n kisses my head as I read over my letter and my eyes widen when I see I got in. "I got it!" I exclaim turning to see y/n looking at me with a proud smile. "So did I!" Scar adds and we then all turn to Chris for an answer and see a pout on his face.

"I didn't get in" he whispers and scar quickly snatches his letter and reads over it. "You little shit. He's lying" she says making us all laugh. "Well done, all of you" y/n says and I lean up to give him a kiss. "We actually have to ask you something bro" Chris says to y/n. I spoke with   y/n's parents about him moving in with us all in New York and they were cool with it. They said they can just fly to his races and meet him there. Scar and Chris were very supportive of the idea when I mentioned it to them too. "I think Lizzie should be the one to tell him" scar says making me nod as y/n turns to me with a confused look. "So as you know all of our parents are splitting the rent on an apartment for us so we don't have to live on campus. I've already spoke with your parents and they agreed. So would you maybe want to come with us and live in the apartment?" I shyly asks and I deflate in my seat when I don't get an answer right away. "If not..." I start but am interrupted by him leaning in to kiss me. "I'd love to. Really!" He says looking between us all. Chris and scar erupt in cheers when we share another kiss making us giggle. "This is amazing, I'm so exited" scar says and we all agree. "When do we leave?" Y/n asks just as our food comes. "We were thinking of going a week on Monday. We don't start until September but it'll be nice to settle in for a few weeks before we start" Chris explains letting y/n know our plans. "Sounds good to me, how did my parents take it?" He asks me after swallowing the food in his mouth.

"Really well actually, they were very exited about it. Daniel was a bit bummed but he'll get over it" I explain between mouthfuls making him nod.

"To a new chapter of our lives as a group" scar says lifting her sofa up so we all clank our glasses together before taking a drink.

I love my life.

Y/n's pov
I was actually shocked by the question about moving with them but I'm happy they did ask because I won't have to be away from Lizzie for long periods of time. We've only got 2 races left in the season and they both will be back to back the week we move to New York. I already know Lizzie will be coming because she will have plenty of free time until she starts at nyu. I feel kind of bad about leaving Daniel behind but I'm doing this for me and my life instead of worrying about what other people think.

"You happy to be coming with us?" Lizzie asks as we cuddle in bed in just our underwear, the tv playing in the background quietly. "So happy. I'm glad we don't have to do long distance" I say making her hum in agreement. "You want to come to my final two races?" I ask and she perks up with a huge smile. "Of course I do baby, I don't mind paying for my tickets and flights" she says making me giggle slightly. "You won't be spending a penny. I can get them free from McLaren and you can be in the pits again with my parents. Andrea adores you and sees how happy you made me in Texas." I say and she leans up to give me a kiss. "Thank you and I love you so so much" she says rubbing her nose against mine making me smile. She's so cute. "And I love you so so much" I repeat making her giggle before we share another kiss.

I love my life.
