Ray POV
Again! All of this stress and drama isn't good your health. Mariah lay unconscious at my feet. I looked up at her obnoxious cousin Makeda she had tears in her eyes.
"Did her family really have an accident" I asked Makeda while I picked Mariah up in my arms in bridal style
Makeda pushed the tears back.
"Nah, I'm not sure her sister called me and said it was a family emergency." Makeda said while picking at her aqua blue nail tips
"What!?, Just because its an emergency that doesn't mean it was an accident" I yelled
"Damn why you yelling at me its not my fault that she passed out" Makeda yelled back
"The fuck?, You the one coming over here yelling 'Mariah you're family got into an accident' and shit like that." I yelled
By now everyone on the boardwalk had their attention on us. I was so pissed and I'm surprised by all this yelling that Mariah hasn't woken up yet. Oh gosh this has been the most stressful few days of my life. I sucked my teeth at the fact that the people on the boardwalk still had their eyes glued to me as if I was the bad guy.
"Fuck y'all looking at go and surf or some shit like that" I shouted to the forming crowd
I could feel my face getting redder and redder by the second. I heard some people from the crowd mumble a few curse words but I didn't care. I was so pissed off my and my baby can never have alone time. Its always something or SOMEONE that gets in the way.
By the way Mariah's looks are on the side>>>>>
I shook my head sadly. Nothing can ever go right. I glared at Makeda.
"The hell you standing here for, lets go see what that emergency is" I snapped
"Don't be yelling at me" Makeda said while rolling her eyes and neck
"Damn I should've known you were gonna be just like Alissa" I mumbled while we started walking to my car
Makeda did a double take on me.
"Alissa?, Did you just say Alissa" Makeda asked her lime green indigo eyes were wide
"Yeah" I said looking over at the sparkling ocean and I thought of the time when I placed my lips upon's Alissa's. Unwanted icy chills went down my back and I felt itchy all over. Never will I ever do that again.
Makeda looked like ahe was about to say something. Then she just shrugged it off.
"Whatever lets just go, and wake her ass up" Makeda said while walking ahead of me.
"Wait" I said while I reached into my cargo shorts pocket
"What boy" Makeda said with attidude in her voice
"Take my keys to my car I'll catch up with you alright" I said while throwing my keys at her
"Yeah whatever" Makeda said as she picked up my keys and walked to the parking lot
I made my way over to the nearest bench with Mariah in my arms. I laid her out on the bench and gently slapped her cheeks. She didn't move an inch.
I just shrugged my shoulders. She might hate me for doing this but its whatever. I stuck my tongue out and danced it across her plump lips. She stirred a little then she started mumbling some stuff. I smiled.
"Yes Ray you know how to work that tongue damn" Mariah mumbled
"Lemme find out you having wet dreams about me" I said while laughing like a hyena.
Mariah's eyes shot open quickly and she sat up on the bench. She blushed
"Nah Ray its not like that" Mariah said
"Mhmm yeah okay" I said smirking to myself
Mariah and I laughed. Then her tone got serious.
"What happend to Makeda" She asked
I told her everything that had happend on the boardwalk. Mariah shook her head sadly.
"Wow...things can never go right I just want it to be us together" Mariah said
"Yeah, don't worry boo its gonna happen soon and very soon" I said while winking at her
"Yeah...maybe" Mariah said giving me a reasuring smile.
"So lets go see what this emergency is" I said
"Yeah lets" Mariah said

Well damn! I'm tired this chapter was alot of work lol so sorry for any mistakes. And don't worry guys Makeda isn't bad just give her a chance and I'm telling y'all this story is gonna get better and better just wait.
