Finally Kyra and I got engaged. I was over the moon. However, I was very exhausted when I reached home. I directly went to my room and fell asleep. I was woken up due to my phone ringing. It had been 4 hours since I returned home and it was still 11 pm. It was Kyra calling me. I answered her phone in my sleepy voice, "Hey love. What happened?" On the other side I heard a excited voice saying, "Keep quiet and come down with your mobile. I am waiting for you outside the house in my baby. Be quick." She cut the phone and I sighed. I stretched my body and went to the balcony to see. She was leaning against her Aston Martin DB11 in my hoodie and a pair of shorts. 

I quickly dashed out of the house without making any noise and got in the car. She got into the drivers seat and started the car. "I couldn't sleep. I was missing you badly. I just felt I had to be with you. I was exhausted but I couldn't get myself to sleep without you", she said softly with a pout. I gave her a sleepy smile. I was still asleep but I was awake at the same time. "I almost like passed out on the bed as soon as I reached home. I didn't have anything for dinner.", I said with a huff. She looked at me concern and said, "Well, let's go home and I'll cook something for you. I'm sorry I woke you up." "No need love, you look tired too. Let's just go and cuddle while eating some instant noodles or something. And like I missed you too so I don't mind you waking me up at midnight."

She drove to her house and we went inside quickly. She made some instant noddles for me while I kept staring at her. I started to eat it and I could see her staring at me with adoration in her eyes, I pecked her and fed her some noodles. We went to her room and she pulled me on the bed besides her. She hugged me tightly and and said, "I missed you. I know we met just a few hours ago, but I cannot sleep without you. It's very hard to sleep if you are not besides me." I giggled and said, "I can say the same, but I was too tired to even think today so I almost passed out. You know right we have to attend the felicitation party the day after tomorrow?. Are you done with your speech or stuff?"

She nodded a yes and curled up while keeping her head on my chest. It seemed like she was cold so I wrapped her in my arms cuddled her till we both fell asleep. I woke up at 9 because of the continuous ringing of my phone. I half-opened my eyes and replied, "Hello, who is this?" I heard a loud scream from the other side, which was none other than Abhi, "Idiot, where the fuck are you at? Everyone is looking for you for the past 2 hours. We called you multiple times." My eyes shot up and I explained him the situation calmly and told him to tell my parents that I left for work early. I saw Kyra sleeping besides me like a baby. It looked like she was completing her sleep for the past few days. I quickly got ready for work and woke up Kyra so we could go to work. 

I was almost done making the breakfast, when Kyra came down in her workwear. She smiled softly and said a thank you. I rolled my eyes playfully and told that if she said that to me once again, I would kiss her hard. She kept quiet and then asked, "Aayu, I wanted to ask, can I stop coming to work from today? I don't to make a fuss tomorrow." I nodded my head she came and pecked my lips. She dropped me at my workplace and headed towards the Clementine Industries. I went to my cabin to see Abhi and my father sitting on the sofa while smirking. I let out a nervous laugh and dad screamed, "Idiot do you even know how everyone freaked out when you were not in the house at 6 am. At least you should have informed someone before sneaking out. Luckily I saw you sneaking out yesterday so I covered it up for you." 

My jaw hung low, "You were awake when I sneaked out? I thought everyone was asleep." He chuckled and said," I was asking your mom out for a date and she went in after saying a straight no as she wanted to go out with her daughter in law for dinner the day after." I nodded while chuckling. We heard a knock on the door and Kyra came in with my phone in her hand. On seeing dad she greeted him and greeted Abhi. "Dad, I wanted to inform you that I took Aayu with me yesterday night to my apartment because I was having insomnia and I couldn't sleep as he was not besides me. It was late night and everyone were tired so I told him to get out without making a noise." Dad laughed and said, "It's okay, I saw him sneaking out so covered up for him. But next time inform us before you take him out." She nodded and waved bye at us and left as she got an important call. 

We talked for a few minutes and then started to work. I looked at my engagement ring and smiled softly while playing with it. "Look at you being whipped for someone.", Abhi said in annoying voice. I glared at him and said, "Let's see what happens between you and Eloise." He cleared his throat and got back to work, while I chuckled and started working. I texted Kyra what color her dress was of so I could wear a matching suit as hers. I got her reply and she sent me a snap with her setting up her work desk. I sent all the best emoji to which she kept me on read. I was working when I got a call and I had to hold an urgent meeting with the heads. I was done with work really late at night and I wanted to go and sleep at home. Abhi was equally sleepy so we were contemplating if we wanted to go home or just stay at work, something we had done before.   

I was about to fall asleep when someone came inside. My eyes were half open, when I felt someone nudge me. I opened my eyes for a second and saw Kyra looking at me with soft eyes and said "Get up love, I got us food and then I'll drop you at your home." I nodded and went to the washroom forgetting to notice another person who had joined us. I came back and I saw Abhi, Kyra and Eloise sitting on the sofa ready to dig in. Abhi asked, "How did you know we were here?" Kyra replied, "Dad told us you were working till late night. We both were stuck at work too So we decided to get dinner for you guys and then drop you at your house." We both nodded and said an okay. While having dinner I saw Eloise and Abhi trying to talk to each other throught their eyes. Kyra and I looked at each other and we both got up so we both could leave once we were done. 

We went to take a walk on the terrace. The view was so refreshing that it instantly made me smile. I looked at Kyra who was looking at the moon fondly. She whispered, "The view is so beautiful." I smiled while staring at her and said, "My view is much more beautiful." She looked at me and chuckled while blushing. We looked at each other in silence and I asked, "Love what are we going to do once our relatives leave and it's only us? Are we going to move back in together till we get married?" She thought for a second and said, "I'm okay with anything. I am already facing insomnia when I don't sleep besides you. I want us to to stay together. I don't care where, I just want us to be together." she ended her sentence with a laugh. 

I back hugged her and kept my head on her shoulder and said, "Move into our house permanently. You can go to your house for the marriage preparation period, but till then you can stay with us. Well this is mom's idea." She turned herself in my grip and said after pecking my lips, "Aayu, I'm okay with it. It won't be awkward right?" I nodded a no and said, "Love, they have seen you grow up and love you dearly. Like imagine mom rejected dad when he asked her for a date as she wanted to meet you. Dad literally can keep on talking about how caring, graceful and courageous you are, Abhi loves you like you are his sister and threatens to kill me if I dn't behave with you properly and I, love you so much. It'll be fun Pleaseeeeeee." I gave her my puppy eyes and she smiled and said, "Aayu, I know, and I understand it, but I really want to spend the last few days with my family, and after that of course, we will stay together. Other than that, we can also meet whenever you need me and I'm just a call away." I nodded and said, "Okay love, it's your decision, and I totally respect it." 

She pecked my lips and said, "Anyways, let's leave now? I am ordered to drop you both brothers home safely." and I chuckled. She continued while cupping my face in her hands, "I heard it was a stressful day. You did very well love. You are amazing." I gave her a soft smile and said a thank you. She intertwined her fingers with mine and we went to my cabin. We went in to see Eloise and Abhi cuddled up on the sofa sleeping. We quickly took a picture of them and covered them with a blanket and left for home. She drive me to my house and briefly met with everyone. I dropped her till her car and she drove off to her house while I slept in my room peacefully.
