Falling For You

chapter 7

KYRA

Knowing that something was wrong considering he was at the beach at this hour I asked, "Is everything okay between you and Elena?" He sighed and said, "Well, igotherpregnant." I squealed and he let out a chuckle at my reaction but continued, "We are supposed to get married next month. Our parents do know about it, but we are unsure if we are ready yo have a kid. We both do love kids and I am happy about it but still it seems a little early." 

I listened to him carefully and said, "I think you both will make amazing parents. Just imagine have a cool mom and dad with whom you can open up about everything and be happy with them. You both are amazing people and more than that you have pure hearts." he mumbled a small thanks. "Where is she anyways? At her parents place?", he nodded and I continued, "You know what go at her place right now, and speak out how you feel about it and only then come back. Sort it out and only then talk to me you both. But first, drop me at my apartment."

He smiled and dropped at my apartment apologizing for having dinner with me but I convinced by saying that we could go some other time and pretty sure he would have advised me the same thing if I were in his position. I slept that day without having dinner as I was too tired from the entire day to have anything. I was woken up the next morning at 9, which was much later than my usual time, when I heard someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and found Aayu standing in front of me with a worried look on his face. "Hey I was worried, you weren't picking up my calls from night." I sat properly and said, "I'm sorry Aayu, I was too tired and I don't know when did I fall asleep. Shit it's already 9, I need to be at work." I was about to get up when he said, "I called in a leave for you. Just rest for today. I'll shift my stuff in the room besides this. Call me if you need anything." I sat on my bed for a few minutes and quickly freshened up. 

I went to his room, whose door was open. I tugged his t-shirt and then pulled him in for a hug. I stayed like that for a few minutes with my eyes closed. Within a few seconds, he wrapped his arms around my body and caged my body in his arms as if it were the most fragile thing in the world. I pulled out after a few minutes and gave him a bright smile. Realising how we were, I said,"Aayu, I'm sorry for being so touchy. I have got to know over the years that my language for expressing love is physical affection like hugs and so on. You can tell me if you are uncomfortable." He gave me his beautiful smile, which gave me butterflies and said,"Ahhh, well you don't have to worry about it. I like it and mine is a mixed of gifting and physical affection so it's okay." 

" I feel energized now! A hug, is all that I need to start my day. Usually I have my sister or my parents who I hug if I stay there. But when I'm here I'm almost lonely but now it feels good you know.", I said while thinking about something. He engulfed me into a bear hug which made me laugh and we had a nice laughter session. "Do you want to watch something?", I asked him but he said no. I helped him in unpacking his stuff and ordered us a pizza. We took our time in eating while talking and decided to sleep in as it was our day off. I was woken up due to a loud noise outside. My eyes widened when I realized that it was going to rain.

Soon it started raining. I kicked off the blankets, and went to Aayu's room. Luckily his room's door was open so I could get in. Soon it started raining and similarly Aayushman too got up from his sleep. He looked outside and saw it was raining, so he quickly covered himself with his blanket. I could see him shivering vigorously inside the blanket. I slowly went near him and said in a soft voice,"Aayu, it's me Kyra. You are safe here. Nothing is going to happen to you. I won't let anything happen to you." , I said and removed the blanket from his face. His face was filled with tears, I couldn't see him like this. I gently wiped his tears with my thumb and continued in an extremely sweet and soft voice, "It's okay you are safe here. Nothing is going to happen to you. I'm here to protect you. Just breathe in and breathe out as I say." 

He said while sniffling,"Can you sit on the bed, I want to hug you, Please." I smiled softly at him and sat down besdies him. He kept his head on my lap and hugged my waist tightly, while I played with his hair. He eventually calmed down as I played with his hair and fell asleep. It was lucky that he was sleeping. I decided to stay there worried, if he would get up and get scared again. He looked very peaceful while sleeping. His hair being messy, his eyes and face muscles relaxed after crying. Just looking at him made me feel safe and I knew he was the one.

It calmed down after a few minutes and I decided to wake him up. I tapped his shoulder and called out his name softly. He looked at me with his sleepy eyes and slowly opend them. I gave him a smile to which he snuggled more. "Are you feeling better? , I asked him in the softest voice ever. He nodded a yes and stayed in the same position for a few minutes and then got up. "I'm sorry, if I made you uncomfortable. Just that, some things from the past still haunt me. My past relationship ended badly. She was a cheat and tried to abuse me on a  thundery-rainy night. After that day, I started to get afraid of thunders." , he said with an apologetic face. I ran my hand through his hair and said, "It's okay your mother told me about it. Just trust me okay? I'll be there with you whenever you have to face your fear. I will be there to hold you just like now, no matter where I am  and will make sure you never feel scared." 

He smiled at me widely and pulled me unto a bone crashing hug. "Do you want to go out on a drive? I know a wonderful place where you can go and clear your head." , I asked with an excited voice. He said a yes and got up to get ready but he got a call from his secretary reminding him that he had a business dinner today. He told me we could go out for a walk once he was back. I was kind of sad as he had work but then I just went to the living room to watch something. Soon he came out if his room wearing a dark green suit with a white shirt. I couldn't get my eyes off him. He looked so handsome which made my heart skip a beat

He came near me and hugged me. I hugged him back and he soon pulled out. He seemed like he used Dior Sauvage, which is one of the best cologne's I have ever smelt. I gave him puppy eyes wanting to say that I wanted him to stay, but to my shock, he kissed my forehead and went out while running. I squealed a little and laid down on the smiling like an idiot. I skipped my dinner as I was in no mood of having anything, more likely as  did not like to eat food alone. I fell asleep on the couch while waiting for Aayu to get back from work.
