I had read Kyra's text at night, but through a notification. I was arranging for a grand party at our house to celebrate her achievement. I was busy with the preparations the entire day. I had invited everyone from her close friends, Aarav and Elena to her family and my family. My uncle, aunt and my cousins had also incited to join us. It was surprise for Kyra and to make her less suspicious, I had asked Abhi to go to the office. I was getting spammed by her, which was very hard to ignore, but I controlled myself for a few hours. I had asked Abhi to convince her come with him to our house after work. It was around 7 pm, when everyone had arrived and were waiting for Abhi and Kyra to come home.

I was wearing a white tucked in t-shirt and blue ripped jeans. Abhi texted me saying they were outside and My cousins and I stood besides the door with party poppers. As soon as the door opened everyone said congratulations in a loud voice while we burst the party poppers. Kyra screamed a woah in a shocked voice and smiled widely seeing the balloons which said congratulations and looking at everyone. I went besides her and gave her my hand to hold and welcomed her inside. She came inside and I gave her a smile, to which she gave me an emotionless look., but walked inside holding my hand.

Everyone came and hugged her. She saw four news faces which confused her, but dad said, "This is my Eldest brother, Rian and his wife Smita. These two are their daughters, Samaira and Reema. They handle the London branch, and are here for the engagement." She greeted them and touched their feet and they all hugged her. Going further he introduced her to his younger brother and his wife and their children Siddharth and his wife Siya and his daughter Anushka. I coughed a little to get her attention and said, "Kyra, how about you get changed into something else?" She gave me a confused look, but I said, "Well, follow me." I nodded at my mom and took her to my room. I gently closed the door and turned to look at her. She had a emotionless expression on her face. I smiled softly knowing why, I went near her and hugged her tightly. 

"Love, a huge congratulations on you achievement. I'm very proud of you. I'm sorry I had to ignore you the entire day. Please forgive your love.", I said with a pout. She sighed and said, "You know, you got me so worried. I was almost on the verge of breaking down. Thank you anyways. I love you." She hugged me back and I heard a few sobs. I pulled out and rubbed her tears and said, "No more crying love. Now it's party time and the time to celebrate. I got you something. I pulled out a box from my hand and gave it to her while saying, "I know it's very cliche but here you go." She opened the box and found a photo frame of the two of us. She gasped softly and said that it was very pretty. 

"Well, I want you to keep it on your work table. Whenever, you feel sad, angry, stressed, just look at it and it will make you feel better. Think of me while looking at it and see the magic. I have the same one which I got done for my table a few weeks ago, and it helps. And I got this dress for you, wear it and come downstairs." I scratched the back of my neck nervously to which she giggled and pecked my lips. I smiled at her and left the room. I helped mom in getting the cake ready and I got a champagne bottle ready to be opened. I heard the noise of heels clicking and saw Kyra enter the room in a white dress, which hugged her body and was full length. It had a slit near her left thigh and she carried it gracefully. 

I was lost in her and was thrown into a trance but was brought back when she came and stood besides me. I whispered in her ears, "You look gorgeous, love." She blushed and was about to reply but mom said, "Kyra, lets get done with the cake cutting? Everyone is very hungry." She nodded and cut the cake. Everyone were very happy and that's what mattered to me. I fed her the cake and  then she popped the champagne bottle. We had our dinners and mom along with my aunt and cousins was cleaning up. I went out near the swimming pool and sat down with my legs dipped into the water. The city in front of me was lit and still very alive. I smiled softly sinking the view deep into my eyes. I felt someone sit besides me and it was none other than Kyra. She had pulled up fer dress will the knees and had dipped her legs into the water. 

"What's on your mind Aayu?", she asked me as if she could read me. She kept her head on my shoulder and intertwined her left hand with my right. Her thumb rubber the back of my palm softly. I replied, "Nothing honey, the view from here is just beautiful. I don't want this moment to end. Let's sit like this  for sometime?" She hummed and stayed like that. After a few minutes she said, "I handed in my resignation letter today. I'll be helping Eloise permanently now. I'll manage it from here." I looked at her with soft eyes. I nodded a okay and said, "I'll miss you baby." She smiled and said, "Our office buildings are not that far away. We can meet whenever you want." 

I laughed a little and nodded a yes. "Can you stay over here tonight? I don't feel like leaving you.", I asked softly. She replied with a I don't mind it and we laughed softly. "Aayu, an important question for you. Will you attend the felicitation ceremony as my plus one?" ,I acted like I was thinking for a minute and said, "Of course hun. I'll attend it with you." She squealed softly and said, "probably the four of us can sneak out later on and then go out somewhere to chill?" I nodded a yes while smiling while she played with my fingers. We were so engrossed into talking that someone came from behind us and pushed the both of us so hard that we fell into the pool with a loud splash. 

I quickly stood up and found my brother and four cousins standing while laughing at the two of us. I held Kyra's hand and we both got outside the pool and at the next second. I was running behind Abhi, while he was running for his own life. We ran around the entire house and I managed to throw a punch at him. We came back to the balcony to see my cousins and Kyra talking to each other. I rolled my eyes at my cousins and Abhi and took Kyra to my room to change.  One our way back, we learnt that her parents had left as they had to pick up her aunt, uncle and Eloise from the airport and Elena and Aarav had left because was Elena was tired. "Are you okay Kyra?", I asked worriedly when we entered the room. She laughed and said, "Well, I'm gonna get my revenge from Abhi, that too at the perfect time." 

I smiled softly and said, "Well, go take a hot shower. I'll get you my hoodie and a pair of sweats." She nodded and went to take a shower, while I got some stuff ready for her. Soon I heard the water closing and she came out while covering herself with her towel. She looked beautiful and I couldn't get my eyes off her. I coughed lightly on realizing i was staring at her and stuttered while telling her to wear the clothes and I went to the bathroom to take a quick wash. I took my time in the shower and went out to see Kyra sitting on the bed while scrolling on her phone. I could see her staring at me, which made me smirk softly. I was just in my sweats, which hung low on my v-line. "Liking the view babygirl?", I said with a smug smirk. 

She got up and came so close to me that her lips were touching my earlobes. She whispered seductively, "Of course I am enjoying it. Not everyone can see this." She said the last sentence while roaming her hands all over my abs and my body, which made shivers run through my entire body. "Getting bold huh?", I continued. to which she traced her hand softly along my jawline and said, "Yes baby, I'm getting bold. What you gonna do about it?" That was the last string that needed to be pulled, I pinned her to the nearest wall and kissed her roughly. It was a kiss filled with passion, love, and lust. Our lips fought for dominance and I pinched her waist softly, which made her open her mouth and I entered my tongue in her mouth. 

My tongue explored her mouth for a good few minutes. She tapped my chest signaling me she was out of breathe so I pulled out. She laughed after looking at me, which made me confused so I asked "What happened? What's making you laugh so much?" She nodded a no and then came and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back still confused about why she was laughing. Her laugh was so contagious that I started laughing too. We laughed for a good 10 minutes and then she said, "I just remembered the dialogue from 3 idiots. I used to think that the nose used to come in between. I suddenly remembered about it and couldn't control myself from laughing." I smirked and pushed her on the bed slowly and said, "Let me show you that the nose doesn't come in between." 

I slid my hand behind her neck and kissed her. We made out for a few minutes, but then she looked tired and sleepy. I pulled the duvet over us and fell asleep besides her.
