"No, we should park the jeeps and other vehicles on the west side. Have our scorpions on the south end, and the direhorses or Ikran for our Avatars can be kept on the East end. That way it's easier if we need to evacuate suddenly, and we aren't crowding everyone."

"She does have a point. It works better keeping everything separated." Trudy sets down a larger box of weapons as they're much too heavy to carry for too long. "If we try to line up everyone on one side, we're left vulnerable."

"Okay." Norm leans down to grab the box from her as he has an easier time with his avatar body. "I'll let Sanchez know. We will do that then."

"Are the vehicles good to go as far as fuel? I wasn't sure how much we managed to snag last time." Norm intervenes as Trudy is following shortly behind.

"They get about 15 miles per gallon." She informs. "—but they can hold hundreds of gallons. We're lucky they top them off every night, or else we'd be fucked. The scorpions aren't filled as often, but we were able to fill those with what we had."

Norm sets the box down with the others, and Trudy leans into him. She's exhausted from the day and night preparations, especially with helping train the Navi how to wear down the scorpions.

She's happy to do it, but-

"Hey." Norm wraps an arm around her as he crouches down. "If you need to sleep, go."

"I'm fine." She insists despite yawning, and bats away at his hand before straightening up. "I'll sleep later. I need to go pick up Spider before dinner."

"No you don't." Norm steps in front of her. "Eclipse is coming soon, so I'll get him. You get some sleep in, Trude. Okay?"

She groans, as if protesting when he reaches down to shove at her lower back with his finger tips.

"Seriously." Norm rubs his fingers along her back. "-He's been fine with Grace. I'll get him before the eclipse starts."

She had become more stubborn these days, an awful mix of trying to take too many responsibilities on at once.

Trudy just wanted things to go right, for she had a family to fight for — and baby that shes bonded with and wanted to keep safe.

Something you understand all too well as you watch their precious argument happen.

It makes you miss Jake even more.

Sure, he was around after dinner time — but usually straight to sleep. He'd been just as exhausted as Trudy was.

Norm, Max, Tsu'tey, Mo'at, and Grace wouldn't let you help too much, considering both conditions.
It was awful nauseating having to fight all five of them off when you insisted you knew what worked and didn't.

And while they listened to you, they still limited your time in the avatar .. or insisted she would need someone with her when going out to hunt.

You're barely 5-and-a-half months along, with still plenty of athleticism to give. Just not much room to bend down, is all. (Or an equivalent to 20-22 weeks by human fetal development.)

You were carrying a bit lower with this pregnancy, something you were thankful of as it left more room to comfortably draw back your bow.

It was a cute bump, at least. Not going to be as colorful and stretched as your human form was. Da'mik took up as much room as he could with that, and the shorter torso of a human presented enough issues.

"Alright, I've got a good log of the other weaponry - we've taken off all the door guns to distribute to the Navi or avatars, and we're suiting up our Ikran with some harnesses and woven pockets for grenades and such."
